🐾 Welcome to Sandy Paws where boat and dog lovers find their perfect retreat! Our charming 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath vacation rental is designed with your furry friends and maritime adventures in mind. Unwind in a recently renovated home that combines comfort, convenience, and coastal vibes. Sandy Paws is privately owned and managed.

• Dog-Friendly: We understand that pets are family too! Sandy Paws features a fenced backyard, providing a safe and playful space for your furry companions.
• Outdoor Delights: Enjoy our outdoor space on the screened porch, deck, or around the picnic table in the fenced backyard. Rinse off the salt and sand in the outdoor shower after a day at the beach.
• Ready for Relaxation: Arrive to find your beds made, bath towels, washcloths, and hand towels provided – making your vacation truly stress-free.
• Convenient Location: Located on Oak Island, Sandy Paws is just 0.7 miles from the nearest beach access, 1.1 miles from Publix for groceries, 1.8 miles from the nearest boat ramp, and 1.7 miles from Oak Island Park.
• Boat Parking: Bring your boat along! Our property offers a driveway with ample space for your boat, making it easy for you to embark on aquatic adventures.

We had a very nice stay. This is a wonderful place. Lots of nice shade in the backyard when it's hot. Also, a pleasant screened in porch so that even if it rains a little there is a place to sit and still enjoy the outside. We are very thankful to find a place that will allow more than one or two dogs. We look forward to coming again.

Perfect house for our family; two young sons and two dogs! The home was stocked with all kitchen tools, spices, and a coffee station. Every bathroom had all toiletries; toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and makeup cleaner. The back yard was great for our dogs with the privacy fence. The owner was very responsive to our comfort and easy to communicate with. This was easily the best place our family could have stayed at for a first time bringing our dogs to Oak Island.

A wonderful Get Away

This was an amazing place to book. Clean, great location and plenty of space for our little family. The kids enjoyed the yard and the adults enjoyed the patio would definitely stay at this property again.

Sandy Paws was perfect for our long weekend stay. The extra touches like the stocked coffee bar and the toiletries bags were great and very much appreciated. Our Golden loved the backyard and the location is convenient to the 31st walkover to the beach. Emily was great to work with. The home was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Originally from just north of Charlotte NC, we moved to Oak Island, three years ago because this is truly our happy place! We love everything about the beach from the sand, to the salt water, and all everything in between. We love fishing, swimming and most water activities. We decided to manage our very own VRBO property to provide guests with the vacation experience we always looked for when traveling with our pups.
