The Red farm house is in such a great location it's off the beaten path but close to everything. The view and the sunsets from the back porch are spectacular and the view of the night sky was amazing. I would definitely book again and it would be great for a girls get away.

Really had a fantastic stay!2 nights, 2 ski daysHost had great communication from first inquiry.House was perfect!Beautiful view, secluded, but quick drive to town to grab necessities.30min to Pico & Killington, super easy access.Large kitchen area for hanging out and eating predations.Hope to stay again soon!

Excellent place!

This house was amazing, loved staying here. One of the best well-stocked VRBOs I've stayed at. Everything was so easy. Definitely plan to come back!

Great stay at the Red House

We had a great stay at the Red House in early January 2023. The house is well appointed and very convenient to both Okemo and Killington. Kristina was very responsive and made checkin a breeze for us. Highly recommend and look forward to staying here again!

Great for a ski get away!

Excellent house that is close to killington, pico, and okemo! The space was perfect for our group with everything we could have possibly needed. Plenty to do with books/board games and the little walking trail.

Great Place

We live in rural Missouri and it was nice to have a place away from an urban environment. The porch is the best part of this property. Great communication as well.

The Red House was a wonderful, peaceful place to stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything from pans to utensils to spices. The yard was well manicured with beautiful landscape and the porch had a large table with chairs and an extra seating area with nice patio furniture. Everything was clean and lovely. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a wonderful and comfortable home situated in a beautiful location. The view from the back porch is outstanding. The host, Kristina, was a superb communicator, right from the first question we asked when considering the rental all the way through our visit. Things could not have gone more smoothly. We highly recommend this house and would gladly stay there again.

Family ski get-away

Perfect location for our family Killington ski vacation! The cottage had beautiful surroundings, was very clean and had everything we needed. Large rooms, with comfortable furniture and beds. Loved having a garage to park our cars and store our gear. A great value for us, less than 30 minutes to Killington and close to Rutland for shopping and dining.

Beautiful property

We had a great stay and very much enjoyed the house and property. Spent mornings on the porch watching the bluebirds fly in and out. It is a very quiet and relaxed setting, and the house was fully equipped with what we needed. It was quite hot the weekend we visited, and the air conditioners upstairs were very helpful. Great host!

Back to VT

My cousin and I needed to stay in the Rutland area for a week. The hotel selection is rather weak in that area and they certainly don't have the ease of being at home. The Red House has a fabulous back porch onto wide lawns and a sunset over the mountains. If you need a family retreat this is the place for you.

Lovely home with a beautiful view.

This has been my favorite VRBO stay so far. The house was clean and bright and updated. The directions for everything were clear. From the beautiful back porch, my family and I got to watch a thunderstorm roll in. And the book selection was great!

Amazing "red house" back porch is so relaxing

Property description is spot on. Everything was perfect, very clean, paper products ect provided. Back porch is great for relaxing and just looking at the mountain view, local wildlife a plus. We used the kitchen and grill Everything was provided for use. Host quick response on any questions.

Fantastic stay!

Owners provided very helpful information close to the check in and communication was easy. We appreciated so many things about the accommodations- plowed driveway close to a main road for our minivan, 30 min easy drive to Okemo for multiple days of skiing, use of a garage for ski gear and van, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and pull out sofa, plenty of blankets and towels, washer and dryer, and a great area to lounge for our family. One helpful tip at night is that the house is on the opposite side of the street from the mailbox. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend staying here! We are planning to go back!

Beautiful property

We were so impressed with the property. Everything was clean and bright. The home was meticulously maintained and we felt very much at home. Pride of ownership is very evident. We wish we could have stayed longer but we were only in Vermont for a few days. If we make it back in the area, we will be sure to look into booking again. to

Beautiful Red House!

We had amazing time staying at Red House! Neighborhood was quiet (so you can sleep well) and it’s less than 10min drive from downtown Rutland (it made really easy to get food after skiing). Driving to Killington was very easy and less than 30min. The house was very clean and had beautiful view and stylish furnitures. We loved unique dining chairs/table they have. It’s decorated with amazing paintings and posters. Plenty of nice books to read and fun games to play. The owner was very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend staying here! We would love to come back for summer:)
