It is centrally located in NE Florida, a short drive from NAS Jax, NS Mayport, OP Medical Center, Downtown Jax, the surrounding beaches and steps from the St Johns River. The property will keep you close to everything, but far enough to relax… enjoy a large kitchenette, private workspace in the bedroom, charcoal grill on the patio by the pool, a 55” smart tv and high speed Wifi for all your needs.

My stay was Awesome everything was nice and clean and felt like home away from home for a while! I think my one and only thing is the door going could definitely use a curtain or some blinds, watching scary movies or anything in general was kinda creepy. But other than that i loved it 10 out of 10!!

Extremely clean house, well stocked with everything we needed for our stay (TONS of towels for the pool& beach days lol). As the host mentioned — the pool does get some leaves due to the trees, but he brought over a skimmer for us & all was well. We had some vehicle troubles & requested to add another night to our stay & Daniel got it all situated for us. Only complaint I have were the workers that are attached to the building & you could hear everything they were saying, good & bad… quite clearly. Luckily we did tons of adventuring so they weren’t too problematic but after business hours it was nice & quiet. Definitely a well affordable hidden get away!!

We loved the home, very private. The pool was a perfect touch. The home was clean and spacious, great location to shopping and great food. Our host Daniel was great, can’t say enough…..Highly recommend this home.

Really enjoyed our stay. The pool was amazing. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. Only thing we could not figure out was how to put the fold out couch back. Definitely would stay here again!

Convenient location, clean property, only the toilet was very low, no grab bar for elderly. Otherwise very nice!

Loved this hidden gem!!

The place is quaint, cozy and clean. Perfect for a weekend getaway. The pool area is private, secluded and amazing. Host was super responsive and welcoming. Can't wait to stay here again and AGAIN!

Nicely kept property, close to highway, restaurants and airport. Would have liked a bit more kitchen besides a hot plate. We would stay here again!

Small, but what we needed.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was a little curious being attached to a business (I think it was a business). It was clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the pool because it was too cold.

We went by the store and purchased some groceries and realized when we got to the rental that even though it stated it had a cookstove it only had a plug in hot plate, so things like frozen pizzas could not be made. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and the couch ish type thing was super uncomforable. I found myself watching the TV standing up or going out to my truck and sitting in the seats out there. By the end of the week my back pain was unbearable, so we left a day early and went to a hotel where I finally got a good nights sleep.

Better than expected

The property was beautiful! It was exactly as pictured. It was located in a quiet area. The pool and yard were awesome It provided everything we needed. The perfect place to get away, relax, and unwind. Kudos to our host, Daniel.

Private. Clean. Compact. Easy access and check-in with specific instructions. Appreciated the well-supplied kitchen. Cramped bathroom, no handrail into pool, sofa too low to the floor- all problems for me as I was having significant hip and knee pain. If I had known about no handrail, I would have booked elsewhere as I was hoping for a lot of pool time. Photo of the pool- the irregular stairs are at the far left end.

OPHS 40 year high school reunion

Came to OP for the OPHS 40 year reunion. Wanted a different experience than just a hotel. Cobre Retreat is on my old Clay Today paper route. The place was clean, comfortable, and very convenietly located to Kingsley and Park Ave. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Awesome experience

This suite was fabulous. Very clean and accommodating. The pool was the highlight of the stay. It was clean and large enough to swim, not just soak. Some reviews complained about the lack of a stove; but the hot plate, toaster and microwave were enough for any meals we prepared. There is also a grill, where we did most of our big cooking. A crockpot is also available, but we did not use it. We hope to stay here again.

Family trip from Louisville KY to Jacksonville

1st Daniel was an awesome host. Any questions I had leading up to the trip were answered very quickly. The place was nice, comfortable and clean. Very private back yard with an amazing pool, speakers and grill. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The brita filter on the sink was an extra unexpected perk. We had an amazing trip. The space was perfect. We were very very satisfied with the whole experience

All of our reviews are 5 stars. We had significant communications with this guest, and this issue was not mentioned until this review was shared. This guest had unregistered guests and late night parties that are not allowed. The pool was even cleaned 3 times in one week by the pool company per their request, even though it was blue and clean to make them happy. We have monthly pest control inside and out and have never found a single bug within the home. The property does have a preserve in the rear and wild life such as rodents, possums and raccoons could be spotted. The property is well kept, a gem and beautiful retreat. It’s unfortunate that Stephen left 2 stars and misrepresented what a stay here is truly like. Safe travels.
