Very cute and comfortable space, convenient to the beach and downtown Wilmington, and wonderful that I was allowed to bring my two cats. The dock was very relaxing. The driveway is a little hard to find, it is very hidden- especially at night.
Very quaint and peaceful getaway. Located steps away from the creek with a dock and chairs to lounge or kayaks to explore. Bare essentials of living area with TV, kitchen with cookware, bedroom, and bathroom which is all I was looking for. Great place to rest and relax, or venture out with a 5 minute drive to town or 10 minute drive to Wrightsville Beach.
A comfortable efficiency apartment provided us with a pleasant stay. There was a practical kitchen, good shower, TV, and comfortable bed. The location in Wilmington was convenient and we enjoyed using the facilities. The manager was very solicitous and helped us with our needs.
A hidden jewel! If you love to be surrounded by trees and nature, you will love this rustic and private cottage! The furnishings and bed are comfortable and we especially enjoyed the porch and dock. The owner and caretaker, who are both on-site, were extremely gracious to us and our pets, but not at all obtrusive. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!
This was the perfect place for my teenage daughter and I. We requested the other bedroom, so We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Great kitchen and living room, best part was the wonderful views of the march from the deck and the dock. Chris was a wonderful host, and responded quickly. It was was very close to get to UNCW, etc. Highly recommend!
Convenient, quiet location with lots of plants and beautiful flowers. Long, shady drive to house from busy street insulated house from noise. Guest House is attached to main house but is still very private. House built largely from reclaimed materials from old buildings which provided a rustic feel (e.g. old wood flooring). Not fancy, but clean and comfortable for our weeklong stay with our small dog. Enjoyed reading on the dock and kayaking. Would definitely stay here again.
Quiet & beautiful location with everything you need nearby
This is a beautiful place to stay, and very quiet and remote feeling despite being mere minutes from grocery stores, healthcare clinics (and a vet right around the corner), specialty shops and shopping centers, and just a few minutes' drive to various beaches and points of interest. It's small, but it has all the basics and it's very comfortable. We slept very well, did not lack for entertainment whether we went out or stayed in to watch movies, and the A/C kept the place just heavenly feeling after being outside in the muggy heat. Saw lots of neat little wildlife around, and tons of gorgeous greenery all over the yard. The host and her assistant are both wonderful, friendly and very proactive in making sure that the stay was perfect and everything was working properly. This was one of the best vacation rentals we've had, highly recommend it.

I participated in the restoration of 17 historic buildings in the downtown Historic District over the past 30 years. I take pride in this considering most of the structures where destined for the Wrecking Ball.
