Recently remodeled guesthouse centrally-located on a quiet street near the heart of downtown Wilmington. Within the Soda Pop District, you'll find several great breweries, coffee houses, and restaurants within a few blocks. After an afternoon of fun at the beach or visiting downtown shops and restaurants, kick back on the spacious front porch with a drink and fire or perhaps hang out on the comfy couch to enjoy some TV. No matter what brings you to our charming city, we hope you feel right at home.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was extremely communicative and made everything easy from start to finish. The place looked exactly like the photos, was well-stocked, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect and very convenient. I would highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again.

The place was exactly like described. It was very clean and the owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Great location to walk to most things we wanted to do. Cute porch to sit outside as well. We would stay there again.

This charming condo was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It couldn't have been more inviting to our dog. The location is perfect with lots of nearby bars, eateries, cafes and shopping. The hosts were exceptional and readily available. All in all this property made our visit to Wilmington a very pleasurable experience.

Birthday trip to Wilmington

We absolutely loved it and will be back with family. Only place in Wilmington we will stay now. 20 min walk to downtown and tucked in a quiet neighborhood with great hosts. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.

Everything was excellent. I loved that I was able to enjoy the balcony. The neighborhood was very dog friendly. You could walk them around the block very nice. They had dog bags around the block and our host was excellent.

Amazing home and location!

HIGHLY recommend this place. Owners have thought of everything- very well stocked with everything you need for a stay. They were very nice and communicative. Location was awesome- I will definitely be back to explore the area more. Place was great!

A Wonderful Place to Stay

We loved staying here. The guest house was very clean, everything was new and fresh. Loved relaxing on the porch. The hosts definetly made sure you had everything you needed they were so kind and sweet. I will defintely be staying here again.

Great stay

Such a cute play! And the location was convenient for us to walk to Front street and all the restaurants and brewerys in the area. Bed was super comfortable and the place was super clean. The porch was perfect for hanging out and relaxing. Hosts are very responsive and made out stay great. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Wilmington!

Friendly neighborhood!

It was beautiful, the hosts were super nice and the area around the property is really cute and super walkable. There's a great Argentinian coffee shop like a block away.

Wonderful short stay for college orientation! Owner very responsive. He made suggestions about the beaches and answered all of my questions. He even brought water to the apartment when the city had sent a notice about having to boil your water. We will definitely be back!

The reason for only 4 stars for the area around is this is a historical district, and many home are in need to renovation or have not been upkept well. Our little house had been totally updated and was great!! Jason and Katie were great hosts!!

Excellent Stay

Bird’s Eye View is the perfect place for a getaway. The home is clean, well maintained, and has everything you could need. It is in a prime location that is close to downtown and a short drive to the beach. Lots of restaurants, shopping, and the historic beauty of Wilmington are right around the corner. The hosts are extremely friendly and responsive and you can tell they care about their property and the guests that are staying there. This is our second time staying here and we can’t wait to come back again!

Wonderful Host

We booked for the first time using VRBO, I didn't realize that when I filled out the search criteria (pet friendly) that it did not automatically include we would have pets. Jason and Katie handled this with ease, very happy to host our family along with our fur babies. We had a wonderful time and even got to show our little one a movie being shot on the same street. We will stay again when we go back to visit our family in Wilmington.

We stayed here for the weekend to move our son into UNC-W because he had a super early dorm check-in on Saturday and we live 2 1/2hrs away from UNC-W. It was perfect! So close to the university, super clean, beds very comfortable (even the pullout), and had everything we needed!! The pullout is only a double bed so it’s great for one adult, or two small kids. We did bring a full size air mattress so our 12 yr old did not have to share the pullout with his 18 yr old brother Fri night and there was plenty of room to set up that air mattress near the washer/dryer area in kitchen. Everyone was happy and had their own space… it was truly ideal for us! We’ll be back when we come to visit him! Great place!

Super Clean and Convenient

Our hosts were great communicators and had the place spotless for us when we showed up. There was a lovely welcome basket for us and our dog. There is a wonderful Neapolitan pizza joint and bear garden in walking distance, along with cafes and breakfast joints. Convent to downtown and the beach. Would stay again in the future.

Katie and I both grew up in Tennessee. We moved to Wilmington to be closer to my family and enjoy the beach. We love hosting because it allows us to meet new people and open ourselves to new places. We're right next door, so we often interact with guests, which has been rewarding.

We love on the neighborhood and love it. It's close to a lot of good restaurants and is not too far from the beach. We're close to the action but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. We know and love all our neighbors and often gather during summer weekends and holidays.

All of our guests so far have loved our location for the same reasons as we do - convenient to everything yet still quiet and walkable. You get the opportunity to feel like a local while here.

The front porch is a highlight. It's big with plenty of seating. It also sits high (this the name Bird's Eye View), so it feels private as well. Otherwise, we have solid furniture and a full kitchen. The home has all the comforts of home.
