The host was very easy to communicate with. The house was the best of our time in Maine. It was clean, well stocked, and right down the street from Baxter State Park. Due to weather, we unfortunately did not use the boat, but an awesome amenity to have available. I would definitely recommend this place to others, particularly those traveling with large parties.

WOW!!! What an amazing place, our family absolutely loved our time here. It’s by far one of the cleanest and nicest homes we have ever stayed at. The view of the lake is majestic, we saw 3 Bald Eagles and tons of loons! The host was so responsive and great to work with. We can’t say enough incredible things about this place, our this home.

We enjoyed our stay. We were a group of 8. 4 married couples. There was ample space and having 3 bathrooms was great. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. Plenty of countertop space, two sinks and a dishwasher. We specifically chose this house because of its proximity to Baxter. It is super close. You can be at the south entrance in about 20min.

A beautiful spot for our family to gather. Lake is clean, enjoyed private beach and also relaxing from the camp property. Easy access from main road. Lots of space, beds and seating for everyone. An amazing place to spend a week during a Maine summer.

Family vacation at the beach

We had such a wonderful stay and can't say enough good things about this house! It was absolutely beautiful and the owners have gone above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. We can't wait to come back!

Lake Luxury

A wonderful property on the lake that is convenient to amenities and so comfortable to stay at. Beautiful space and amazing view. Fully equipped to meet all needs. Definitely 5 stars!

This property is amazing in every way. The view is spectacular and the house luxurious. Town is close; the Park is close; restaurants are close. It really is a gem.

The house, property and lake exceeded our expectations. The boat house had a canoe and more kayaks than we expected. Plenty of water vests allowed 6 people to enjoy the lake at the same time. The house is beautiful and spacious. We had a great week!

Winter wonderland

We rented this home to go enjoy snowmobiling. The home was at the perfect location to the trails. The owner was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable. The home was super clean and was everything as described. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.

Great place with awesome views!

This house was spacious and had plenty of room for the group, the views were fantastic. I really liked the lay out of the house, the balconies, the parking. We had a small heating issue since it was 6 out lol but the owner took care of it within minutes. He was very gracious and helpful.. I highly recommend this place

Amazing experience

Headed up to Millinocket to hit some white water rafting in the Penobscot river we have been coming many years this is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed and has the most beautiful view not all the House top tier an easy access to the water spare kayaks and canoes was the perfect relaxing weekend for my bachelor party or we will be back

Fantastic place!

We had a wonderful time! It is super close (less than 5 min drive time) to the white water rafting center. Bedrooms were good sized, kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and basic spices, and bathrooms were clean and big. The property had kayaks as well and we had a great time kayaking in the river. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions to get to the house correctly. Will definitely visit again to make more memories!

The Lake House

We were a family group of 10 and we loved our trip to The Lake House! The house was well-equipped with everything we needed from an amazing kitchen, tons of bath towels, beach towels, 4 kayaks, a canoe, floating tubes, corn hole, etc. We spent our days paddling, swimming and fishing in the lake and also explored some short hiking trails and natural water slides in Baxter State Park. We have stayed in many rental properties and The Lake House is 1 of the best!
