FOR SALE - Adorable cottage with money saving kitchenette, living room, bathroom and full bedroom. Lanai on the front. Recently re-painted. Private with your own entrance and off-street parking. Bed linens and towels provided. Coffee maker, utensils, pans, plates, glasses, mugs, and microwave available. No pets or small children please as we have a police dog.

We promise you safe, secure, and clean accommodations with no outrageous cleaning fees or "tasks" to complete, so you can actually be on vacation!

Close to shopping, black sand beaches, Volcanoes Park, quick walk to ocean. 30 minutes to downtown Hilo

Very lovely stay

If you're looking for a quiet place a little out of the way, this place is perfect. It had everything we needed for our stay. It’s just close enough to several places to eat and not too far from Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. It’s better than advertised.

Great, quiet place near Hilo!

We had a wonderful time at the Mai Tai Manor. It was so quiet but very close to Pahoa to get food/coffee and not too far from Hilo either. Falling asleep to the frogs every night was amazing! Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely Wonderful!

A last-minute booking that was an incredible stroke of luck! First, the place is even better in person than in the pictures. Quaint, perfectly kept, with all the supplies one could need, and BLISSFULLY quiet! Second, co-host Will recommended a drive along Govt Beach Road. Would never have known…it was incredible! The Hawaiian Beaches park just down the street has the most beautiful waves, colors, and foam you will ever see. The Govt Beach Road leads to Lava Trees park. By chance, we also saw Whales just offshore from the Beach Road! Frankly, the location was perfect to see the east side of the island. Volcano Natl Park (was erupting the day we went!), the Mauna Kea Observatory, Akaka Falls, Hilo, Panalu’u Black Sand Beach (saw sea turtles!), the Star of the Sea Old Catholic Church, and the Ka’u coffee plantation…all within and hour and a half drive. Thanks so much, Kimberly and Will…an incredible bnb, wonderful hosts, a modest price, and a grand adventure. Highest recommendation! Mahalo.

November vacation

Highly recommend this vacation rental the home is everything it shows and more. Private and secluded. The birds are singing all the time. The owners are on sight and quick to respond to any enquires.

Loved our stay

Nice little cottage with A/C. We loved out stay while there. It was about 30-40 minute drive from Hilo.

Relaxing stay

Very well kept and clean. Great communication with owners who were very helpful. And the surrounding yard was so lush and green, so at times it felt like being in a jungle forest. Would stay again.

Quiet and private getaway!

Upon entering, my wife and I were amazed by the cleanliness and the high ceilings. Everything was neat, orderly, and smelled extremely fresh. After a long day of sightseeing, we both looked forward to making our way back to enjoy the solitude. Overall, very comfortable space to relax in.

A little slice

Great little place just off the beaten path. Located in a nieghborhood, quiet, relaxing, and safe, with all the amenities needed. Very clean, and check in was showing up. Really nice to back to after a day of exploring.

Very private

Even though the property is connected to the main house, it’s private and comfortable. It’s spacious and not cluttered with furniture, but has the main essentials. The bed is a double, and there isn’t extra bedding. It’s close to Pahoa with adequate shopping and several nice restaurants. Kaleo’s Bar and Grill was a favorite. The ocean is close and “Old Government Road” is a beautiful drive with several pull outs to view the coastline.

Cozy cottage for two

The cottage is clean and neat. Good amenities in the kitchenette-big refrigerator. Close to Hilo and the park. Quiet neighborhood in the jungle. Frog song at night. Would stay here again. Thank you Kimberly!

Coqui Frog Oasis

Although we didn’t get to meet Kimberly, her and Will were lovely hosts! The space was one of the cleanest BnB’s we’ve been to. Honestly our favorite part was the patio! Surrounding trees has an awesome jungle feel, you can hear beach waves from the place and can spend hours listening to the coqui frogs. They’ve set up outdoor lights that are so so nice. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Spotless, well-provisioned, comfortable home

This home was exactly as advertised and then some. The owners have thought through all the provisions one might need, and so it is easy to set yourself up for a range of different holiday experiences. Quiet neighbourhood, aside from the frogs. (We found the frogs mostly charming.)

Secluded Hideaway

Very nice, well equipped place that was accurately described. Roomy with nice bedroom, kitchen, and living room. My only caveat is to pay close attention to the location. It's off the beaten path so with slow roads it is not a quick trip to Hilo or the main highway heading towards Volcano National Park. However if that is not a concern it's wonderful.
