Stardust Ranch: Your Own Private, Gated 1-Acre Resort in JT!

Stardust Ranch is your own private resort on a gated, one-acre estate. Surrounded by stunning desert landscape, in the foothills of Joshua Tree. 7m to park, 5m to downtown JT.

Ranch-glam on inside, desert oasis on outside: a resort style pool, spa, Moroccan courtyard w/daybed, hammocks, BBQ, bocce ball and a stargazing vista pad w/breathtaking views of desert and surrounding foothills!

Pool and Spa:
Stardust Ranch has a resort style pool (40ft), with Baja ledge and a large 6+ person built-in spa.

Heating Fees:
Gas heating is usually not necessary from May through October becasue of the weather + solar pool heating system. We charge pool and spa heating fees based on usage as a pass-through-cost, meaning you only pay for what you use, and we settle-up after your stay. If interested, please inquire for cost estimates or flat fee rate and give us at least 2 days notice if you'd like the pool heated for your arrival.

Please note: Expected gas spend for heating is directly connected to the weather. So, please check the weather forecast for your stay. In hot weather, heating the pool is not necessary. When it’s super cold (especially overnight) it may be cost-prohibitive to heat the pool – but the spa is always well worth the cost and the best bang for your buck during the coldest months.

Pet Friendly:
We're pet friendly! Two well-behaved pups allowed. There is a flat $100 pet fee which accommodates up to two pups for duration of stay.

Please note: No pups on the furniture and no pups left alone in the house (unless crated) or in the yard. Also, upon departure, please dispose of any pet waste and be mindful of urine as it will stain. Excess pet hair, waste cleanup, urine stains and animal damage is not covered by the pet fee.

EV Charger:
We have an electric vehicle charging station ($25/charge).

SECURITY CAMERAS:
We respect your privacy. Cameras are for security purposes only. Location: Front entry gate, side entry gate, house entry (Ring doorbell), Backyard/Pool (strictly for liability purposes in the event of injuries).

A perfect option for families wanting to enjoy Joshua Tree with all the amenities. The house is pristine, with a well stocked kitchen, plenty of space for all six members of our group. We hope to return again another time!

The pictures don’t do it justice! The house was incredible! The location was perfect, the kitchen was well stocked, the towels and beds were luxurious. We had four teenagers and no one was bored or complained once. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Everyone absolutely loved Stardust, even more so if you are a Bowie fan!! Beautiful spacious house that is clean, very well stocked. The large pool, with the amazing view. And the stars..goodness, so many stars.Perry, the host, was great and responsive. We will definitely return the next time we visit Joshua Tree.

We’ve stayed at a lot of different VRBO‘s all over the country. Really nice ones, at that. This was by far the nicest, coolest, easiest one ever. I will never stay anywhere else in Joshua Tree. I had a hard time leaving. I could go on and on, but why bother? Just go there. Trust me.

Amazing oasis in the desert

Loved this beautiful house and location. It is nicer than any rental I’ve stayed in with furniture and decorating I’d do at my own home. Great communication from the owners. Would go back again for sure!

Perfect Peaceful Setting

Enjoyed the home very much, everything worked as expected, Super clean. Excellent communication! The backyard has a great pool and enough land for a peaceful setting. We especially enjoyed the night sky while sitting next to the fire pit. Host was excellent. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Stardust Ranch. The house was warm and inviting from the moment we opened the door but with cool artwork a fun nod toward Bowie. There was plenty of space to spread out and everything we would need - linens, towels, dishes, utensils, cooking supplies. The pool was a great bonus and we enjoyed a full pool day in the sun. We also made great use of the stargazing deck - seeing the stars was one of my main motivations for going to Joshua Tree. The host was very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely stay again and would be happy to bring others along.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful weekend at Stardust Ranch. The house had everything we needed, and the kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. The kids loved the pool, hot tub, hammocks, bocce ball court, and fire pit. We had a great time roasting marshmallows and stargazing, and it was an easy drive into the park or into town. We would definitely go back.

Perfect Desert Getaway

We had a great stay here. Property is even better than all the pictures. Great pool, awesome night sky viewing, really top notch across the board. This was EV charger friendly (bring your own charger) was super convenient since charger infrastructure in JT is still a little lean. Plotting how soon we can get back. If you are on the fence about booking, just do it.

Stardust Ranch

Such a lovely property, you get best of both worlds, desert and luxury, very peaceful place with nice amenities in the property, perfect get away destination! Only downside was the fire pit not ready for use since we were looking forward to roasting marshmallows with the family, but was informed in advance from the host.
