I grew up here in Lake County and moved back to be close to family in 2019. Life has taken me on new journeys, so now I am happy to share my home and the magic of this special spot with guests! If you are reading this and deciding not to book this home, can you please send me a message and let me know why? This listing is extremely popular on other platforms but I have received absolutely zero bookings on VRBO in two years which just seems bizarre. I’m wondering if something is misleading or confusing about the listing. Insights are greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Why they chose this property

Jago Bay is a vintage lake vacation neighborhood. Most homes in the neighborhood were built as vacation homes, and many still are. This is a unique neighborhood that is private, safe, peaceful, has some of the best views in the county. Our north facing slope stays a little bit cooler than other areas around the lake, which is a bonus in summer!

What makes this property unique

This is a truly unique property with an acre and a half of private park like grounds, a vintage historic barn (not currently open for guest access but it’s nice to look at!) and a private nature trail to our own little Rocky point lake lookout on the water. The porch has one of the best views around the whole lake.
