Nicely decorated, comfortable and roomy. Walked to town easily for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast at Buchi cafe was simple and tasty. The Delaware and The Treeline had delicious dinners and atmosphere. The Willow fires were in the mountains and we could see the smoke, but did not bother us in Leadville. The air quality was fine. Lots to do and see in this sweet town. We had tee times at Mt Massive golf but was canceled due to smoke. We had other options within 30 min.

Ski slopes were easily accessible as promised. Overall this rental was nice, but the floor was very squishy in several spots near the kitchen, so much so that it was a bit concerning especially considering how far down the fall would be if it were to give way.

We had an awesome stay in this beautiful home. There are 2 reasons I did not give 5 stars. First, the oven was very dirty which caused it to smoke and smell up the house. Also, some of the pans were put away dirty by previous guests. Second, two of the guests in our party brought Dyson Airwraps to do their hair. We were there for my daughter’s wedding, so you can imagine the drama that ensued when both appliances would not work, trying multiple plugs throughout the home. The appliance would turn on and immediately shut off. After multiple attempts would not turn on at all. Even Dyson tech support could not figure it out, offering to replace them. Luckily, I plugged it in when I got home and it worked just fine.

Perfect Location & Size for Our Group

The place was as advertised and well-appointed. I was spending a few days with my daughter and family friends hiking in the area. The short walk to town and restaurants was ideal at the end of our active days. The beds were very comfortable. I would stay there again if I were in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming cozy home. Thank you. FYI, your neighbor across the street is a wonderful person who helped us immensely as we unfortunately had car trouble. We are looking forward to planning another trip to Leadville soon.

Great Stay!

The house was very cozy, had plenty of space to spread out, and has multiple restrooms for privacy. We came up for a quick weekend ski trip and enjoyed the space to hang out and relax. Wifi was fast and reliable. The host even worked with us to allow a few extra guests (who brought their own air mattress) that joined our trip last minute. Host was also great at communicating the rules of the house as well as fun activities to do during our visit. I would recommend to anyone with a group size of 6 people or less that like their own space/privacy.

Great home with great location

Great 3/3 located 4 blocks from downtown. Check in process was perfect. I had one question for Cristina and it was answered immediately. Plenty of towels/ blankets and whatever you do, don't go to Safeway for condiments/spices until you check out what's already in stock. We took our own soap and shampoo but if you forgot it, it's there. Easy front street parking. We did not make a fire but had we wanted to, everything was there. Plenty of space for everybody. Highly recommend and will definately try to book next time we are in Leadville!!!

Amazing!!

The location is perfect. It was easy to walk to the start of the Leadville 100. The home is very cozy and comfortable. We were able to hook our laptops up via HDMI to the TVs and easily use Netflix and Youtube TV for our watching needs. But by far, the best feature is the kitchen. I would say it is the best kitchen we have ever had in a rental. We fear not having the right things for cooking before our endurance events. Upon arrival, we all smiled with amazing satisfaction. Rice maker, crock pot and waffle iron all in stock along with good pans and knives. The spice cabinet is stocked so we did not have to buy the basics. It was so much fun to cook together in this kitchen. Truly the best feature of the home. The host was super communicative. We did not need anything during our stay but I know she would have been there if we did. Highly recommend and will be booking again for the next race in Leadville.

Acerca de su propietario/a

Propietario/a: Cris

Imagen de perfil del propietario o de la propietaria
My wife and I are avid outdoor enthusiasts who love snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, camping, cooking, gardening, and remodeling homes.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

My wife and I chose to buy a house in Leadville because its views are amazing, the outdoor activities are endless, and it's not a resort town, yet it's close to our favorite places to ski, and only 90 minutes from downtown Denver. The winters are magical, the springs are surprisingly warm and mild, the summers are a perfect getaway from the heat, and the fall is full of those autumn hues.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

While at our property, we enjoy the solitude of watching the snow fall, looking at the night sky full of stars, the pace that forces you to relax or find an outdoor activity to enjoy, cooking in our great kitchen, and hosting our friends and family for a weekend of fun.
