We truly loved the 2 lake homes and got exactly what the listing, details laid out! Camille was also so wonderful and helpful - making sure all of our needs were met! We were a group of 12 - it was a team retreat. I highly recommend these homes for anyone looking for a cozy, summer/fall/winter getaway! it was spectacular!

The houses were amazing - clean, fun, and lots of space for a big crew. Camille was easy to communicate with and it made for a no-stress weekend.

The perfect family gathering place

Both of the lake homes are amazing. Comfortable, well appointed, and Camille made sure there were extra touches that made us feel right at home. Camille was an excellent host, providing recommendations for things needed during our stay and was very responsive. I would highly recommend this property to any one. This is a beautiful property in the Hudson Valley. The neighborhood is very pretty and quiet, views through the trees to the lake were lovely. We had a couple of technical glitches at the house that the owner worked very quickly to resolve.

Beautiful lakeside property with wonderful amenities and beautiful artistic flair. Celebrating our daughter’s wedding and getting ready with her bridesmaids in this beautiful home was truly special.

Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on these two beautiful lake properties. Although the property sleeps 17, you could easily entertain 30 people and not feel cramped. The host legt a homemade pie for us! The kitchens, particular at the "cabin," are incredible and dhave everything you would ever need. Highly recommend this property to large groups looking to travel within an hour of NYC.

What a lovely experience at a truly remarkable property. Our party could not get over this “dream home” from arrival to departure, with as much beauty to take in inside the homes as there was down by the lake. Both the lodge and cabin were easily accessible, and there were plenty of comfortable beds available to choose from. I could go on for days in this review, but I’d rather leave it at this: it’s the perfect vrbo. Book it. Revel in it. Then tell all your friends!

Every summer, my extended family (four siblings - late 50s/early 60s) and nine children meet for a family gathering. We rotate across siblings so we've been in Napa, beach houses, etc. This year was my turn and I chose the Hudson Valley and, in specific, I thought we'd try this property. I loved everything about the description but still had a little trepidation on the drive up - we've all experienced properties that simply do not live up to the description. This property, though, exceeded all of our expectations. The kitchens were great, the pantries better stocked than any place we've ever stayed at, and the lake was a complete show stopper - with the surfeit of kayaks, paddle boards (and hammocks) all big hits. In the evening, the kids played ping pong, foosball and watched movies while the adults had wine by the fire pit. On Saturday, we had pre-dinner cocktails and photos over at the smaller house (106), while an amazing local chef (Chef Wayne Homsi - thanks Camille!) set up in the bigger house (112) and prepared an amazing three course dinner for us. He brought two super helpful staff who served drinks and cleaned up afterwards. My only concern was about the number of bathrooms but that turned out to be a complete non-issue. In fact, everyone loved the weekend so much that even the kids helped tidy up before we left to make sure we stayed in Camille's good graces - for the next family reunion when it is my turn again in four years!

Far exceeded expectations! The listing doesn’t do justice to this property. It’s a magical location, filled with surprises throughout. From firepits & wood burning stoves to paddle boards, canoe and kayaks; wonderful location and property. Accommodations: kitchens well stocked to cook for a large group. Comfy beds and bedding. Bathrooms nicely done with indoor towels and towels for the lakeside. Large open spaces in living rooms and kitchens for socialising. Having two cabins was ideal for a large group as can come together and have down time in smaller groups.Travel & supplies: Easy to get to from nyc using the bus to Monroe park & ride, 1.5hrs from 42nd & 8th street. Very large Stop & Shop 10mins drive away with preorder available on Instacart. You pull up and they bring groceries to your car. Setting: The lake is clean with no motorized water craft when we were there. You can paddle across the lake to convenience store on the other side for an adventure. The walk to/from the lakeside is probably not for the very old or very young, but suited our group of parents and teens!Host was helpful and responsive, without helicoptering the rental. Couldn’t ask for more than that. Highly recommend this rental.

Incredible location for my Micro Wedding

If you’re looking for an eclectic, serene, water front property in the Hudson valley this is the place. Camille has a one of kind property with remarkable art and two gorgeous houses that comfortably fit our family of 11 plus one 3 year old. The property felt super private and tucked away which was really nice. We held our wedding on the dock and had a beautiful dinner in the cabin afterwards. We were able to take beautiful pictures in the wooded pathway that leads to the dock as well. Swimming in the lake the day after was a highlight too. Camille was super efficient and responded quickly to any and all questions. Highly recommend staying here!

Best Upstate Getaway for Groups!

Such an incredible stay + an accommodating host! It was truly the perfect upstate getaway! We couldn't have asked for a better time. The cabins had everything we could possibly need for 10 people for the weekend. Stacked full kitchen + bars, with lots of plateware and cookware. We wound up hosting a dinner party and then playing games afterwards (there's a ton already there). There was firewood provided for cozy fires through the weekend, beds were plush and comfortable. And the lighting in both lodges was gorgeous during the day. The two separate houses made it feel like a little campus and it was fun to change the vibe throughout the weekend between the two lodges. Would love to come back again during the summer to get full use of the lake! Camille was great + so responsive, she also left flowers to make our stay feel really special. We can't wait to come back again.

We had a wonderful family vacation, and the two houses lived up to our expectations and the photos! We had our four adult children, spouses, and a handful of grandkids - it was a full house, but it never felt cramped! Most of the younger grandkids stayed in the cabin area and loved all the games that were available (ping pong, foosball). We had wonderful lake days and took day trips around the area - including the city! We felt very at home, the owner was extremely responsive and check-in and out was a breeze. Any questions we had were quickly handled. Very family-friendly, and lots of great memories were created. Would highly recommend!
