Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lake house. Located in a quiet neighborhood atop a hill with spectacular views of Caney Lake, this rustic but beautifully decorated house is the perfect place for a getaway.

Our property is located on the deeper end of the lake with a fantastic swimming area and lots of open water which is perfect for tubing, wakeboarding and skiing during the warmer months and provides excellent fishing year-round. Our lake is known for its fantastic bass fishing, and we can attest to the crappie fishing! We have an automatic fish feeder, artificial reefs and green lights around our pier that draw the fish in. We also have a fish cleaning station and fresh water right there at the boat house.

We offer a boat launch right in our neighborhood or the closest public launch is located at Hooks Marina. Hooks is conveniently located only two minutes away by boat ride and is visible from our house. This is the perfect location to fill up your boat or grab lunch. They also offer live music and karaoke on some weekends. The beach area at the State Park is also only a short five-minute boat ride away.

Our amazing double-decker boat house has a covered area with a comfy twin sized bed swing, hammock chairs and a fan, plus a huge 1200 square foot upper deck area. The upper deck has a covered seated area providing shade, tables and chairs, and lounge chairs in the sun for tanning. This is the perfect area for watching the sunrise/sunset and it also offers a front row seat to the July 4th fireworks! With two boat slips and a jet ski dock you have plenty of places to park your water toys. We also provide a four seater pedal boat, two kayaks and two paddle boards for use, as well as a refrigerator and microwave in the boathouse storage building to minimize trips to the main house during the day. We do provide a golf cart to make trips to the main house easier during your stay. This is perfect for guests with mobility issues. We also have a water hammock located in our swimming area which is perfect if you just want to float and relax in the water, and we have a water mat for the kids!

We have tried to make the interior of our home as comfortable as possible including a fully stocked kitchen with lots of small appliances and spices plus an adjustable bedframe with massager in the master bedroom. There are queen sized memory foam mattresses in all three bedrooms. We do have additional sleeping in the living room. Our living area is very large and offers a large sectional sofa that can be converted into a bed with two queen sized mattress toppers that will sleep four people and an extra-large bean bag that can be opened into a floor mattress that sleeps two additional people. This is perfect for kids! We also have two roll away twin sized beds that are stored in one of the spare bedroom closets and the pantry area. These can be placed in the living room and can sleep two additional people.

We also have plenty of tables and outdoor seating areas to hang out and relax between the boat house areas and the large back deck adjacent to the main home. The main home deck has two covered areas for rainy days with a Blackstone griddle, an electric pellet grill, fire table and outdoor games such as darts, life sized connect four, corn hole and extra-large Jenga. We also have comfy twin sized bed swings at the main house and down at the boat house. Our hot tub is located in a covered area so it’s in a perfect spot for rainy days. We also have a pool table that converts to an air hockey/ping pong table.

We do have security cameras located on the outside of our property. They are found in the following locations: in the garage at our front entryway, on the front corner of the house pointed at the driveway, on the front of the shop, along the side of the house with the flagstone walkway, on the back side of the house pointing towards the back deck and on the boat house. They are always on.
