Carriage House in Old Saratoga

This guest was a constant source of stress to host. She had stayed with us in the past but booked through another person. This time around she wanted a discount because she stayed there in the past. I did not provide a discount because my prices are very very fair. Then she proceeded to inform me about the pots and pans. I sent the housekeeper there and the housekeeper reminded that these were new and we bought back in April. The housekeeper checked the entire house and everything was fine. When the guest returned she complained that there were mouse droppings. I asked her to send me photos. She never did. Then she told me that the power was out and that she is bringing her brother to check all the fuses even though i had arranged for my caretaker to go over. She did not want that. Finally when they checked out they didn't even take the garbage to bins. I hope to not have the bad luck of ever having to host this guest again.

The heating of the gas fireplace is more than adequate ! It is set up to heat a space twice as big. The guests kept turning the dial that adjusts the Flame the wrong way repeatedly even after my caretaker was there and again over the phone informed them of the simple direction to turn it the right way. They never mentioned to me about mice feces while they were there and we communicated constantly. They refused to look at the website for wifi information as well as lockbox code. I never spoke to Michael who made the reservation and my caretaker never got to see him while he was there. I communicated with "his girlfriend". We still do not know who stayed at the house. They will not be welcomed back!
