Spacious Family & Friends House Across From Tower Grove Park
This is a great place to stay. I’ve stayed at this property before and hope to stay here again. The listing description is accurate and the apartment is super clean.
Our stay was good. It is an older historical neighborhood and did have traffic. We parked in the front as our giant suv couldn't maneuver the rear parking pad there are white lines on the curb to help you park away from the fire hydrant and not in the neighbors area. The home was clean and updated. Beds were comfy enough. Kitchen was well equiped. The only thing that through us for a loop was the master bedroom has no door on it facing the living room. It only has a door facing the kitchen. The layout of the home requires you to walk from living room to master bedroom then through a door to kitchen , bath, and spare room with a queen that has a barn door. But the master does not have a door facing the living area.. i guess i didnt recognize this in the pictures. So if you need or want privacy it's not possible. My husband and I stayed with our 25 yr old daughter and her best friend so we would have liked the privacy. But we made it work. I think families with small kids, girls trips, etc it would work great for! The zoo was 10 minutes away or less, 4 minutes to botanical gardens, 15 min to grants farm and about 15 min to the galleria. And 15 min. to downtown. We found an italian bakery on the hill a few blocks from.the home. Overall our stay was as expected.
Steve and Terry are fabulous hosts! We love staying in their apartment when we visit St. Louis! It's located where we want to be and it's clean with lots of amenities. We will definitely stay with them again!
Really cozy, CLEAN and I was surprised on how spacious it is! Amazing location, your own parking spot that’s right in front of the property, easy unloading bags, gated yard. Check-in could not have been easier, everything you needed the host provided right off the bat. The host was extremely friendly, overall it was all just awesome and I’m so glad we were able to stay at this cottage. I’d look to stay here again if we come back through the area. I know I already said it, but this place was CLEAN, big thanks to the host. They definitely care about their place and guests. Great experience.
Great location in upcoming Grove Neighborhood. Walking distance to lots of great restaurants. Convenient to Forest Park.
With a few small tweaks this property will be perfect. It is much more spacious than the photos indicates. Charming building - hardwood floors, high ceilings, spacious kitchen. Responsive owner. Great stay!
