Our off-grid Family Apartment utilizes all three of our guest rooms, kitchen, private bathroom, and living space located in the private downstairs apartment of our formerly Amish Farmhouse. Hosts live onsite in a separate private area of the farm. The guest rental spaces are reserved exclusively for your group and are not shared with the hosts or other guests. Unplug and enjoy a taste of the Amish life - without leaving your conveniences like lights, electricity, Wifi, and hot water (without having to boil it yourself like we did when we first arrived). We don't have a TV, but we do provide some board games. Renova Hot Springs is just a mere 6 miles away if you want to enjoy a rustic experience beside the Jefferson river. We maintain redundant High-Speed Internet with download speeds averaging 100 Mbps so you can stay connected. We are also conveniently located near Copper K Barn and historic Twin Bridges Round Barn.
We are an active farm, so do not expect the "Ritz" or any fancy gardens. We do have free-range poultry, so do expect some animal droppings on the property. Experience the stars as you've never seen them before. Our views are unbeatable and your experience with us will be memorable. Bring your binoculars - you never know when you might get a glimpse of the majestic Montana wildlife! Meet the farm animals or watch for bald eagles and deer and even possibly meet our resident moose family. We are surrounded by National Forest and untamed rivers that make us the perfect location for your next adventure.
You may also experience animal and/or equipment noise during your stay. You may experience our family doing chores/farm projects that sometimes happen late at night or early in the morning. We do our best to respect your privacy and rest, but sometimes noise, equipment, and lights are unavoidable.
Guest access: Guests enter through a common exterior entry area and then access the private apartment through a guest-controlled locked door. The apartment, guest kitchen, bathroom, living area, and two tiny cabins are reserved exclusively for your group. No indoor living spaces are shared with the hosts or other guests. We are located in the country so be aware that most restaurants and urban attractions will be 20-45 minutes away. We do offer a Farm to Table breakfast menu for purchase. The road getting to the property is partial pavement and partial gravel. Our gravel driveway is 1/2 mile long. We enjoy the stars so we do not have security lights in the parking areas. There is parking available next to the house for up to 4 vehicles. Please notify us if you plan to bring more than 4 vehicles so we can discuss parking options.
ATTENTION SERVICE ANIMAL OWNERS: Although the service animal industry holds a special place in our hearts and we have even specifically bred service dogs for Puppies for Patriots in the past, we want you to know that our farm is not a safe retreat for your valuable animal. We have working livestock guardian dogs who's job it is to deter any strange animals from being here for the protection of our menagerie of farm animals. Our guardians are very friendly towards people but your animal would be viewed as a hostile intruder. For the safety of your animal, please don't book our farm stay if they must be with you. We are truly sorry for this inconvenience but we want the very best for your animal as well as ours. Thank you for understanding.

The farm was so beautiful, quiet and majestic mountain scape. Seeing the morning farm chores (milking and feeding the animals) was a great bonus. The home was clean with cute decor with themes in the bedrooms, plenty of space, and the large kitchen table was great for family meals. Would definitely stay here again! They were freindly and helpful in local sites to see (hike and a hot spring) and the farm fresh eggs were tasty. A great addition to our family vavation.
