Whiskey Ridge on Lake Martin is your perfect, unique getaway for year-round water! Upon walking in, an open floor plan greets you with loads of natural light in the kitchen, dining area, and living room, as well as a door that opens to the screened-in porch for outdoor dining and the back porch for gorgeous lake views!
The home sleeps 10. The primary bedroom suite with a queen-sized bed is on the main level with views of the screened-in porch. This floor also has two additional bedrooms: one with a queen-sized bed and one with two twin beds. The downstairs living area features a separate entrance with a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a twin bunk bed with a separate kitchen and living room. There is also an additional screened-in porch on this level.
Special features include an outdoor shower, screened-in porch near the water, and a partially covered dock, which can be accessed by using the key hanging on the hook in the kitchen. This property offers deep water year-round, but with year-round water comes a steep lot. Please note that this home features a steep driveway and many stairs.
In the main house, there is a regular coffee pot and Keurig, toaster oven, electric griddle, and blender. Downstairs, features a Keurig and regular coffee pot. As well as, a toaster oven and electric burner.
You will have access to the whole house and the neighborhood amenities.

Parking is available in front of the house for a few cars. There is a steep driveway. No smoking is permitted. No parties or events allowed inside or outside of the home (no loud music after 10pm). Beautiful place
Be prepared for intense stairs very steep
Driveway and incredibly nosy neighbors. I wouldn’t recommend for small children or elderly guests at all
Also I would have a 4x4 with a decent sized motor and be prepared to back down the driveway and it only has 4 spots

This home on Lake Martin has a beautiful view, is spacious and has all the amenities you could wish for. One thing to note, which wasn’t clear from the listing when we rented, the house is over 25 steps down from the parking area. While this was a concern I had before booking, we didn’t have many options so I didn’t ask ahead of time as I should have. We had some issues with cleanliness when we checked in, but it was corrected the following morning and the property manager followed through on refunding our cleaning fee. Overall it was a great stay.

Failure to Maintain upkeep
This stya would have been perfect had it not been for the lack of some lights, hotwater in the downstairs suite, abd overflowing septic tank. My brother and his wife and daughters stayed in the suite downstairs. It was the perfect space for them. However they had to walk upstairs to use the showers. Then due to the backed up septic tank, their toilet downstairs clogged, and sewage backed up into the shower down there which lead to a foul smell. The smell of sewage was wrapped around the house outside by the time we left. The hot water tank was never fixed/replaced before of during our stay. Our vacation had to be interrupted by maintenance who did nothing but take a look. Maintenance was polite. I'm not upset at them. I'm sure they did what they were able to. However, I do not believe 360 destinations did all they could to fix the issue. My family and I had to deal with a hazardous situation because this property has been neglected. This is not acceptable and I hope they maintain the property properly before renting to anyone else. This vacation was an expensive outrage.......... so much for summer vacation.

The owner was notified of all of your complaints and we will make sure these things are addressed ASAP. We do not have complete control of all of the repairs as we are not the owners of the property - just the rental managers. The homeowner makes all of the repair decisions and we do all we can to communicate issues and call maintenance when we are notified of issues. We can let you know that the owner has blocked off the house for the next 2 weeks in order to make the needed repairs to the home.

We absolutely loved this property! Very clean & well kept property! The downstairs suite was amazing! Loved how we had privacy. The only reason they got a 3 star on the communication with property manager was it would take them a little while to get back to us. Which is understandable, but would’ve been better if they could’ve responded quicker. The property driveway is very very very steep and there are a lot of stairs; however this is listed in the description. So be prepared for that. Loved that they had lighting throughout the rock stairs! Thank y’all!
