We enjoyed our stay so much! Very secluded at the property, but you are located about 15 minutes from everything. The cabin had all of the amenities we needed, and we had a great time!
The cabin is very private, easy to get to, and everything works. We very much enjoyed our stay, and took advantage of the sunset horseback ride. Great experience.
The property was the perfect size to get away for the weekend and explore Waco. During the Baylor Graduation weekend we were concerned traffic would be a problem, but this property is located in an area that did not attract the attention of the bears, and there was absolutely no issue with traffic during the busy weekend!
We loved being close to everything but having the seclusion when we were ready to come back and relax. The property was beautiful and we loved our stay. Thank you
Stayed with my daughter for the weekend. Was very cozy and relaxing. Visited the nearby homestead heritage craft village. Everything went well and we would book again in the future.
We loved the place, it was close to Waco and all that entails but quiet and secluded. The small kitchen let us not have to eat out all the time but if you want to everything is still close by! Would definitely stay here again.
We had the best stay! The cabin was beautiful! Owners were available to answer questions. We opened the front door to a family of deer just hanging out! Great surprise 😮
Great spot! Close to Waco but far enough out of town to feel like you're away from it all.
Make sure you sign up for the sunset horseback ride on the ranch while you're here! It's well worth it!
I love this cabin as it was a perfect retreat for coming to see my son at Baylor. Comfortable and quaint! Only regrets were I couldn’t enjoy the beautiful property or go horseback riding this time due to rain and storms but did have a few mornings with beautiful sunrises! Will plan to come back when I visit my son again in spring!
We enjoyed our stay at this secluded cabin. They have everything you need and then some. Fair warning, the restroom and bedroom have no door. We’ve been married for 18 years so it didn’t bother us. We enjoyed sitting outside the fire pit on and looking at the stars. Great price and great location.
Nice clean little cabin sitting back off the main road not too far outside Waco. Other than forgetting to send us our check-in code they were able to get it to us in about 15 minutes after calling them. The cabin was all updated the only thing it needs is a sharp knife in the kitchen. My husband and son also did a horseback ride that they also offered on their ranch and had a very enjoyable time with that . If we were in the area again we would probably stay again.
Better than I even imagined! Such a peaceful and scenic getaway. We booked this cabin to celebrate my husband's and mine 20th anniversary. The cabin and ranch was the perfect amount of isolation, for some rest and relaxation, and close enough for us to take a 15 minute drive for dinner.
We also did a trail ride which took us through the fields and overlooks of the ranch and bluffs/ Brazos River, I would highly recommend it. Our guides Savanah and Ruthie were amazing. The horses were amazing as well. Bonus is the owners are very quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed! If you’re looking for a getaway from all the noise and a breath of fresh air, this is the perfect spot!
