Great Graduation trip

We loved our time here! House is adorable, clean, and just like the listing. Plenty of room. Short close walk to Alamodome as well! Would definitely recommend!!

Great Spot

The property was great. It's in an urban neighborhood but we felt very comfortable. Close to downtown and a cool old home.

Band Trip

Exceptionally clean, well maintained, completely furnished, we thought it was the perfect place for our needs. Walking distance from Alamodome and 5 mins from downtown is very true!! Would definitely recommend!

Concert trip

Great historic home. Perfect for any event at the Alamodome. Just walking distance. Eveything you need is near by just a short drive. The home was beautiful and cozy.

A fantastic stay

The property was exactly what was advertised! The house was cozy, super clean, very well arranged and very welcoming! Everything we could have hoped for and more! The check in process was easy, the location very convenient, and the communication with the host very friendly and responsive! Highly recommend!

Cheer Weekend

Clean, plenty of space for every one. Just a few minute walk to the Alamo dome saving us parking fees all weekend.

A gem

Convenient to the convention center, very comfortable and pleasant. Host did a terrific job communicating on a regular basis. Very responsive. Uses an app for access and was patient troubleshooting with us “technically challenged,” Overall, very pleased.

Not exactly what we expected

The home was clean, however the home is definitely older and had multiple areas of peeling paint and cracking in the walls. The location was not what I had expected, but I was also unfamiliar with San Antonio. There were trains very close by and ran frequently throughout the night. The beds were very loud, creaking with any small movement and uncomfortable. I did not bother to reach out to the host with these issues at the time, as there was nothing that could have been done about it at the time.

The Blue House

Unlike some of the homes in this area that have been completely gutted and modernized this home retains much of its original architectural charm. With three bedrooms and 2 baths it can actually sleep 10 adults. The refrigerator is modern, large and works perfectly. There is no dishwasher but that wasn’t a big deal for our group. Most of our time was spent at Final Four events so we were on the go the entire time. The homes proximity to the venues and events could not be better. There was a little noise in the area due to a combination of neighbors and the many Final Four attendees in the area but we had no issues with anyone. We liked the security of the property with the gates and technology. The gate would sometimes not close after use and we had to push the button again before the time would run down and shut the gate. Our only serious issue was the AC system which did not or could not cool the house with temps in the 90s the first 2 days. The owner made every effort to help with the problem and had the system serviced while we were there. The weather turned cooler but I believe the system was working after servicing. This was a great place to stay and a great value for our group.
