Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Place all used towels in bathtub, empty bathroom and kitchen trash and place in metal garbage can at end of driveway. Lock door and return keys to the plastic container inside of the gas grill

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Please empty the garbage and place bag wire box at the end of driveway

Please broom sweep the floor broom is in closet across from furnace

This is a wonderful spot—quiet and clean with beautiful views and comfortable areas to enjoy the lake. John was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend! The lake is directly across the road and it’s a short stroll to reach it.

Location and water access was great. Loved its pet friendly, our dog enjoyed the stay. We had to reach out the host for an unexpected issue, but he was very responsive. Only downside was the mattress, it’s very very firm and difficult to sleep on.

Perfect couples getaway!

My husband and I were very happy with how clean and cozy the place was ! We really enjoyed seeing the fireworks and sitting by the campfire together . The entire experience was soo perfect and we will recommend this place to anyone!

Quick weekend

Perfect spot and house for a couple to get away. Beautiful view of lake. Easy enough access to water. We brought our kayaks and got in and out no problem.

Escape from DC

Perfect location for a week away from DC. The location was perfect and allowed us to travel around the area. We drove out Tesla and there are 2 super chargers 30 min away. Never had an issue charging.

Weekend stay on the lake

We had a fantastic stay at John’s home on Great Sacandaga Lake. The house is small but has everything you need. Very clean and tidy. There’s a beautiful view of the lake directly from the house and the access to the lake is great. You have to cross the street for the access point but there’s a flat grassy area with a fire pit right on the bank. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy Sacandaga getaway

I'm an accountant. We came as a getaway after tax season. This was perfect. The place was extremely clean. Exactly as described. I would highly recommend.

If you want to unplug away from the city this is the spot, beautiful scenery plenty of interesting places to travel through. Just don't expect a convenience store on each corner. Just go over then mountain and you will almost step back in time.

Gorgeous lake view

We had a great stay just wish we knew the only source of heat was a spacer heater. The host did inform us a day before our arrival but didnt clarify that was the only heat source, the water pressure was low. Maybe we missed it in the description but this is definitely a mobile home and not a cabin. Overall it was a good stay just freezing. Also, the lake view was great but note it is across the street.

Great couples get away

Perfect place for a quick affordable getaway. The house is across the street from the lake so you do have to cross over a main road to get to the water however, there never seem to be more than a dozen cars in an hour. there are two different fire pits, one up by the house, and one down by the water. Breathtaking views of the lake are right outside of the door. There is an adorable little porch with a tin covered roof, which was perfect to sit under for the brief rain storm that came through. Everything is well set up and well thought through. We will definitely be returning!

Great place to relax and reenergize. Lost power all day Saturday due to a tree that fell down which there is no control over but it was great sitting on front patio watching the water and the boats come back from the Dock Tie Off party. South Shore Dive Sunset bar and grill is a gr8 place to go eat drink and watch the sunset. Cheeseburger sliders an A! Thanks for sharing your place with us.
