Sandra's place was conveniently located for lots of great outings, cozy, and adorable. Close to a cute coffee shop (Wildwood) and very near Burt Lake. Lots of space for a family to spread out.

The home was perfect for accessing Burt Lake and the chain of lakes with our boat. Really convenient to town, loved we were able to walk easily for everything. The cottage is older and we enjoyed its character, no air conditioning (was not on the listing) but we made do. Lots of fans and open windows helped.

The location was great - close to downtown and exactly as pictured in the listing. However, there were several issues that future guests should be aware of. The home had no functioning A/C, and we experienced ants and roaches during our stay. The front door handle was broken, and many windows either lacked screens or couldn't be opened, which made ventilation difficult.While the photos match what's shown online, they don't reflect some very outdated areas, including furniture being propped up with books and towels. The lawn was not mowed, which added to the overall neglected feel.Great location, but the property needs maintenance and clearer disclosure.

Just Wow! I never received any call just a request to check out at 6pm which we could not accommodate. I was personally there to drop of screens for the window and was in Indian River. There are not roaches.... I personally accommodated the many changes for their date changes. There were 2 boats in the drive for the races. Not happy with the review or someone that doesn't contact during their stay..... Love the cottage and wouldn't change a thing. Maybe try a NEW build...Not our wonderful cottage.

The cottage was clean and cute as a button with a great location. The kitchen was well stocked with appropriate pans and utensils. The shower water pressure was great and the sheets were soft. My only suggestions are to have written info regarding check out instructions and wifi info. Attempts were made to connect to wifi, but nothing came up when searched and there was no info regarding it or a password. Additionally, beds and pillows were low quality and extremely soft. For those of us over 50 with bad backs, no rest was had and we checked out a day early because of it. I would also add a hair dryer as I had to borrow one from my sisters rental down the street. For safety reasons, I would think that all windows should be able to be opened, but the only one that would open was the kitchen. Without any air conditioning, that would have been nice. Luckily it was cool and the fans worked great. The owner was very friendly and communicated well.

Over all great stay. Labor Day weekend and Labor Day Mackinaw Bridge walk and we were happy to have booked here. The host was amazing and responsive which is appreciated.

This little cottage was such a cute place, absolutely an up North feel to it. Plenty of space for two to four guests. The owner was prompt with answering any questions and its location was ideal for what we had planned. Loved the stay.

Close to town. Clean. Had kitchen dishes, utensils, etc, all appliances including washer/dryer, fire pit. Would stay again.

Family reunion

House was clean and comfortable for our group of 5 adults and 1 infant. Quiet neighborhood and within a couple blocks of a few good restaurants and shops.

Peaceful location, convenient to town and to local beach, as well as being a short drive from Burt Lake state park. It is also within easy driving distance of Cheyboygan, Petosky, and Mackinaw City, and other northern Michigan parks and attractions. The only minus is a lack of air conditioning, although fans are available. The host responded promptly to any issues we had.

We had a great stay in Indian River! The cottage is close to everything, so the kids could walk to the beach or to get ice cream and I never worried once. The property is clean and everything was so simple. Communication with the team was fast and great - this is small town life at its best, and it was so lovely to reset and enjoy our time together. Up north stay

Location is great to I 75, walking to beach and main street. An older home with a few quirks but updated living area and bathroom Kitchen lacked toaster and pots but had great gas stove.

Great location

The cottage wasn't anything special, but it was clean, comfortable and a great location. Walking distance to the beach and to ice cream, restaurants and other stores. Plus it was less than a block from the North Central Bike Trail and only a few miles from several other trails, if you want to do some biking or hiking. Also close to Big Bear Adventures if you want to tube or kayak.

The property was as described and cute, cozy, and clean. Walkable distance from town and the river. More sofa seating in the living room would have been appreciated but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
