This was an amazing space for our two small families to share! Host was great with getting us what we needed. The pictures accurately reflect the property. The house was a great location to get to the sites.

This was the perfect house for a family of 5, centrally located to do a ton of nearby hikes and activities. It was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and travel, plenty of towels, clean and fun activities for kids. Easy check-in and reasonable check-out requirements.

This property was clean and very well organized. It met our needs. The only thingI could say is that there were 5 adults and 1 bathroom. Our timing had to be on point. The kitchen was spacious and the stove and refrigerator were clean and relatively new.

Great stay!

The property was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. It is in a good location and was very quiet. We have stayed in VRBO units quite a few times and this was among the best.

We found this location very suitable for any direction we wished to travel. The house is very clean, quite neighborhood and well stocked. Laundry facilities were a big plus.

This was a great location for us to visit all the sites in the mount rushmore and surrounding areas. The house was nice and neighborhood was very quiet. Plenty of supplies and equipment in the kitchen to suite all our needs. Host responded quickly when we had a question. If in the region again would definitely stay here again.

Kitchen was set up with everything we needed. “Do they have… yep”. Very efficient. Linens - blankets, towels, kitchen towels and with little kids access to broom etc to keep things tidy. Nicely done.

Family vacation

This was a great home base during our vacation to the Black Hills. Having quiet space for everyone at the end of a fun filled day was wonderful. The little extras were a nice touch. Going home with clean laundry and a happy family is a treat!

Location and quiet

This property was perfect for what we needed. We stayed at the beginning and end of our trip. We arrived after a long day of flying. We visited Badlands the next day. It's close to food and gas. It's about 15 minutes to the Rapid City airport. The host was very responsive.

Perfect for us

A great location, just a short ride to the center of Rapid City. Extremely quiet neighborhood. House furnace can be noisy, but we made sure it didn't come on at night. Good bathroom with a shower/Jacuzzi but a bit far from one of the four bedrooms. Large kitchen and dining room. Good arrival and departure info from the host. We're glad we chose this house.

Family Weekend at the Mines

We had a wonderful visit and stay in Rapid City. We have stayed in many VRBO’s (and other rentals) from Florida, North Carolina and more and we were so impressed with the cleanliness of this home. The responsiveness of the owner was spot on, as well. We weren’t looking for anything fancy or needing a spectacular view, a nice home that could accommodate my elderly parents, my daughter in law and grandson, myself, as well as my son that we came to visit. This home had a nice dining room space and plenty of rooms for all of us to rest comfortably. It was centrally located to everything we wanted to do. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. Our stay was short but we had a wonderful weekend and would recommend this sweet home to others that might need a one level home that has plenty of rooms for all.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect! The property was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location in Rapid City is unbeatable—it served as the perfect base camp for all of our Black Hills adventures, making it incredibly easy to for day trips to Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Wind Cave NP, and Badlands National Park. After long days of hiking and exploring, coming back to such a cozy, welcoming home was wonderful. The kids also really enjoyed the games!! The host was fantastic, very responsive and provided clear instructions. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
