Your vacation can be as relaxing or active as you want -- there is plenty to do in York Beach. Choose Long Sands, a beautiful two mile stretch of white sandy beach, or Short Sands, known for its carousel, playground and arcade. Both beaches are just a short walk from the house.

The home is located about a half mile from the historic Nubble Lighthouse in Cape Neddick, one of the most photographed lighthouses in the USA.

Food tastes even better in York, with a variety of restaurants -- especially seafood -- for just about every taste. Also nearby is the famous Stonewall Kitchen, whose flagship store and cooking school are based in York.

York is incredibly historic -- it was the nation's first chartered city in 1641 and the first incorporated city in 1642. History buffs should visit the Old York Historical Society in York Village, which includes a museum and the oldest jail in America. Here you can step back in time to New England colonial life 300 years ago. The living history museum of Old York encompasses nine buildings including the old jail, a schoolhouse and a tavern.

This home has an open living concept. When you enter, you will see a large family room/kitchen combo. The kitchen has all the comforts of home including a stainless steel full-size refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen is loaded with cooking supplies, including a lobster pot.
The dining table can accommodate eight people, and the bar can seat four people. Connected to the kitchen is a spacious living area with flat screen television with DVD/cable, two leather sofas, and a leather chair/ottoman. The first floor has a spacious half bathroom. (Please note there are NO bedrooms on the first floor.)
The home has four bedrooms. On the second floor, there is one bedroom with two twin bunk beds and one bedroom with a queen bed…each with its own view of the ocean. There is also a covered porch with picturesque views of the ocean. The second floor has a full bathroom with bathtub and shower, as well as a convenient washer and dryer.
The third floor has two bedrooms. Awaken to a spectacular ocean view in the master bedroom, complete with a queen bed and a sofa with pull-out queen sleeper that comfortably fits two adults. This room has an abundance of windows that drench the room with ocean views. And if you’ve got business to take care of, you’ll find a quiet office cubby with a desk. The other third floor bedroom also has a queen bed with yet another spectacular view of the ocean, as well as a bathroom with shower. This home is perfect for families to enjoy the Coast of Maine for their vacation away!
