My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! It is RIGHT on Balch Lake and perfect for boating, fishing, and swimming. There was a lovely dock and the perfect outside seating areas for reading and hanging out. The house was great and very clean! Nice upgraded kitchen and living room, and comfortable beds. There was a heat wave during our first week and the central air was heavenly! We were very glad to have that nice amenity. We loved all the little touches around the house like many handy hooks for beach towels and swimsuits, household items we needed to get started like hand soap and paper towels, s’more makings (!!), even sunscreen. Just very thoughtful and useful. We had to work remotely during part of our stay, and to our surprise, the internet speed was faster than what we have at home. It was easy to work from there, which was something we really needed.Highly recommend renting this property. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for a terrific escape!

We are lifelong friends who have owned and rented this property for the past 4 years. We love this retreat and love to share it with family, friends and renters.

Why they chose this property

Balch is a great lake community on the Maine/NH line with a vibrant summer community and beautiful fall scenery. We enjoy the community, scenery, lake views and local establishments year round!

What makes this property unique

The cove is a great way to be on a larger lake but away from noisy boat and jet ski traffic. Our property is wonderful for kids with a new spacious dock, floaties and lilly pad!
