Very clean place. They were great to us, we decided to extend our stay for 2 more days and they made it very easy and flawless.It was great views looking at the water. I appreciated the gated walk in access to the property. If we ever go back we will for sure see if this is available again.

This rental was much more than expected!! Owners had basic beach supplies (chairs, small cooler, wagon, boards) available for use, and other small toiletry items available for use. The small things are always appreciated . Thank you for sharing your home!

TV/ internet issue with Spectrum

To change to excellent: Condo is lovely and well supplied. HOWEVER from our arrival Sat. until 11am Wed. we were without cable, internet out for over 24 hours, and inconvenienced by 3 appts. We feel there should be some compensation to us as an 8 TV in home family. Very important

Nice quiet place to stay

Our overall review of the place is great. The beds were all more then comfortable and we slept very well. There were many amenities in the condo! We were short on washcloths and toilet paper by the end of the week. We were very happy with the starter coffee and creamer. Which got us through the first night.

Peaceful, lovely place to stay and enjoy the beach up close or from the lanai!!!!

My hubby and our two Corgi's stayed here for our Christmas holiday. It was our first time in South Padre and we absolutely LOVED this condo!!! We had the sliders open all day while we were home! SOOOO relaxing and beautiful to sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous ocean air! The beds were comfy with nice linens! (We are picky about beds being to hard) The bathroom was beautiful and had all the little items you might forget! There are ample water bottle/insulated cups to use while there for your beverages. The fridge is large and was spotless! The televisions are fabulous and the living room tv is large with a soundbar! Much better than most VRBO's/hotels. Plenty of space to spread out between the table and kitchen island for games, puzzles, working etc. They even have a basket full of throws for snuggling under in the evening. Be aware: it is in the listing that there is no elevator, and since we brought dogs, our luggage and Christmas presents we had quite a few loads to get everything upstairs. I would have happily paid someone to unload our belongings once we got there...not sure if that can be arranged. If you want a peaceful and relaxing stay, even without leaving your room, this is the place! Close to lots of places to eat out and delightfully uncrowded during the week of Christmas! Absolute perfection!!

We are Kay and Dan Bolek. We currently live in Austin, Texas, but Dan is originally from Chicago and I'm a Texan....born & raised. We've been married about 4 years, and Dan fell in love with South Padre Island from the very first time he experienced it. I'm actually a Valley Girl from the neighboring town of Weslaco, Tx. We started visiting so often, that we ended-up buying our own place here in SPI!

It was --LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT-- for us when we first walked into this place. Even though it needed quite a bit of TLC and some modern updates....we fell in LOVE with the ocean view!!!!
