We had a great stay here! It’s well located, only like 5-10mins from Guerneville town center. The property is fully fenced in, so great for dogs. The hot tub was lovely. The deck feels very private and looks out onto a beautiful forest. Would stay here again!

Clean Home with All the Amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was lovely and the hot tub was amazing! The house was clean and the kitchen had all the things we needed. Beautiful property set on a ridge in the redwoods. The last .25 mile can be a bit tricky at night, but we found Canyon Road to be a bit easier than the recommended route. The hot tub and outdoor fireplace were a great place to relax. The rear deck and new gas grill are a great spot for dinner at home although the neighbors barking dog can be less than tranquil. We never needed to turn on the portable AC unit despite a couple days near 90 degrees.

The place was lovely. Nice hot tub,beds, etc. nice place. You should be aware, if travelling in hot weather, they do not have ac and the house gets very hot. Also, there is no washer or dryer, so the single bath towel and washcloth per person feels stingy. When I spoke to the property manager because it was so hot, 85 degrees inside, in the house, she was fairly rude to me.

Our party of three really enjoyed this property. It is out of the hustle and bustle of the city but only 20 minutes from airport and Russian River valley wineries. It is rustic and a bit quirky which for us added to the charm. The kitchen was well appointed, and we were impressed with the nice gas grill on the back deck. All in all a wonderful stay.

Overall, the house worked for our group of four adults, but there are a few things future guests should be aware of.The neighbors are extremely close to the property, and there were dogs barking frequently throughout our stay. Noise also seemed to be a concern, as we were unable to comfortably enjoy the front or back outdoor areas after 9 PM due to the neighbors wanting quiet while sleeping with their windows open. It felt like noise complaints were a real concern, so this is something to keep in mind, especially for families with children or groups who enjoy spending evenings outdoors.We were also disappointed that the heater on the back deck was broken, and the indoor furniture was not very comfortable. We would have liked to spend more time relaxing outside, but between the outdoor restrictions that wasn’t really an option. It was hotter than normal inside would have been nice to have air conditioning.Overall, the house worked for our needs as four adults, but the close proximity of the neighbors, noise restrictions, and condition of the indoor amenities are important things to consider before booking.

Great Home base to explore the area!

30 minutes to the ocean, 30 minutes to Healdsburg and Guerneville itself is a cool place to explore. Really a perfect home base to explore Sonoma County!

Sonoma Weekend Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing vacation find. The location could not have been more perfect. 10minutes from our favorite vineyards, 10 minutes to "town" for grocery runs, gas, and restaurants. On the foothills of the redwoods this stays was beyond incredible and relaxing. Courteous neighbors, quiet solitude, and the rental was clean and cozy. I enjoyed spending the mornings relaxing on the patio under the serene trees and birdsong, and evenings by the fireplace or in the hot tub. Looking forward to booking again on our next trip to wine country :)

The amenities were very welcoming and the location was great. When I called the agency they were always helpful. Loved the hot tub and the views of the trees out the bedroom windows. But I think they may need rotorooter.

Relaxing weekend getaway

Cozy getaway near Guerneville center

Nice and spacious home with warm fireplaces, perfect for the fall! The host was also very flexible and accommodated an extra day for my family. Our dogs enjoyed the stay as well and could play in the enclosed front yard. Thanks for a cozy vacation!

Cute little house on the hill!

The property management was friendly and helpful. The house was cute and well cared for. We had everything we needed there, fully stocked. Only suggestion, maybe a high chair would be helpful for future families, but otherwise, we had a great time with no complaints.

A great place to relax after ~4000 mile drive from Boston

Excellent with lots little extra to make for a great stay. Features we really liked - 1) Cool nights and warm days (after 104F crossing Nevada and 100F in Utah) 2) Downstairs bedroom and bathroom 3) 3 Bedrooms (after 8 days of hotels) 4) The front porch, fire pit gizmo 5) Cookies ! and and kitchen equipment 6) Dishwasher and lots on plates, pots pans, knives to cook and eat with 7) Laundry room downstairs 8) TV and channels

What a great experience we had

Very Remote- Parking limits are real

This property was clean and as represented in photos, but hard to find as the "turn-off" road is not well marked, and house is up a very rough one-track lane deep in the woods. Although it was only 7 miles from my son's house it took over 30 minutes to travel. Also, the entry to the home is not very safe...you have to walk down a hill on loose pea gravel with no stairs or railings. It was tough for my older mother and we had to carry suitcases and you can't drag them over gravel. Suggest they create a SAFE path of entry for guests.

Nice little house a few miles from Guerneville

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and communications/check-in easy. The kitchen was well-equipped. There is only a small kitchen table with 3 chairs (no dining room), which would have been a problem (there were 4 of us, plus 3 guests came over for a meal on Thanksgiving), except the weather was nice and we were able to sit out on the deck. The deck was lovely, surrounded by trees. The location was a little out-of-the-way and the driveway was steep, but it was paved and we didn't have a problem, even with a minivan with a bike trailer. It was nice to be up on a ridge out of the damp in the sun. And the neighbor was super nice and welcoming. We did have trouble with the heat. It kept shutting off automatically overnight and the house was cold in the morning. Another minor complaint was we didn't find the beds and pillows very comfortable, even though they appeared to be new. Thinner pillows for kids/side sleepers would be nice. All in all though we were comfortable and would recommend this place to someone who wants to stay in the Guerneville area.

Lovely stay for adults and *older* children

Let's start with what we loved about the place. It's a great layout with 3 spacious bedrooms. The outdoor spaces are all really lovely, though because we were there in the heat of summer with a very handsy toddler, we preferred the back deck with the dining table on it to the cozy fire pit in the front. It was nice to be up in the trees a bit on the porch and it was generally very quiet. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was better stocked than most kitchens you'll find in vacation rentals. And we loved the game selection! Here are the warnings. Access to the house is via a one-lane, windy, hilly road. It wasn't a big deal for us, except that it made us very intentional about coming and going, as it was always a bit of an adventure. Being in such a remote, quiet location so close to the Russian River made it worth it. But it's just something too consider. I wouldn't recommend staying there with a small child. No room satisfied all his needs for a sleep environment. And there's very little play space other than the back porch--with tons of very exciting breakable decor. A few nitpicks. Downstairs tub didn't drain well. Cookware was scratched non-stick, which is toxic to use. The oven doesn't close all the way, making for inefficient heating. A/C is a floor-window unit in the kitchen, so it doesn't cool the whole house. All the bathtubs require care getting into. No bedroom was easy to cool in the hot summer months.
