Incredible stay and location! Communication with the owner was great. The house is a very short walk to Fish Tales, and the area down Ft. McAllister Rd. is pretty quiet (except for a little traffic during morning rush hours). The only downside is no access to the garage, which would've been helpful since it was *pouring* when we arrived. The house is a bit older, but everything was very clean, and my teenager loved having their own space downstairs with an independent room, bathroom and living room. Plus, the dock house was a great option. We went out for morning coffee and evening cocktails (weather permitting), which helped start and end our day on a great note.

Family from across the US came to celebrate our sister for her 60th birthday. Great location, awesome dock house, highly recommend! Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Lovely getaway

We had so much fun at this beautiful property with gorgeous riverfront views! Very clean, very comfortable and well equipped, so much outdoor space including a fire pit and furnished boat house. Easy drive to Savannah for a day trip, walk next door to Fish Tales for some seafood and drinks on the marina. Steve was super to work with! Our two 17 year old girls didn't want to leave! We can't wait to book another 3 day weekend there!

Perfect Getaway

Property was clean and spacious with scenic view all around. Had more than enough room for our group. The enclosed boat house was an added bonus which really enhanced our trip. Sufficient parking for our vehicles and accessories. It was so peaceful and quiet even with a road nearby. Restaurant within walking distance and a state park just minutes up the road. This location truly has it all. Steve the host was awesome. Great communication even before we booked.

Beautiful property, excellent location!

This place was amazing. Beautifully situated between the river and a pond in the back yard. A short drive to downtown Savannah as well. Very clean and well taken care of property.

Family Trip

We stayed at the property on a short family trip in town. All we can say is wow beautiful house great location perfect communication. The only negative 3 nights was not enough, we will definitely be booking for a longer stay. We fished all 3 days with catches everyday Mainly stingray and shark.

Most relaxing location with the best view of the Ogeechee River.

We loved this home, it was spacious, clean, comfortable and had the best view of the river, sunsets and sunrises. The perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Savannah and also plenty of historical sites to see in Richmand as well. We would definitely rent this same property again when we visit next time.

Excellent Clean Property: Fishing Trip

We booked this property based on recent reviews and for the dock. The property did not disappoint. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, roomy, and very clean. The boat dock worked perfectly for our Carolina Skiff. Communication with the owner was easy. He was always fast to respond with any questions we had. We will definitely book again. Highly recommend.

Amazing getaway

Our family of 4 stayed Labor Day weekend with our friends (another family of 4). The house was amazing. Great location; right on the water, and 100yds away from the restaurant/bar/marina. 27 minutes from downtown Savannah. House was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Best Dock on the River

Super Relaxing and could have just rented the dock house. We just slept inside the rest of the time we were on the water or on the dock. Fish Tales is a great treat as well.

Great home on the river

Enjoyed our stay and fishing at this lovely home. Kitchen is a little on the small side, and water pressure not great in the master bathroom. Our kids may have made more of a mess than expected and we paid the additional cleaning fee without hesitation.

Awesome river view

Stayed 3 days to briefly explore Savannah and Hilton Head during a return drive from a family reunion. This house is wonderful. On a quiet riverside road, but not a far drive from Savannah, grocery stores or restaurants. 3min walk to a great little grass hut bar my wife loved. The house was ready to go for our 18/20yo kids and us on arrival. Steve was great with communication via text, and info in the house gave us WiFi, local attractions and checkout instructions. Definitely catch a sunset or sunrise from the dock house, and keep an eye out for deer, armadillo and alligators. 10/10.
