Perfect location on the marsh for viewing wildlife and also a short walk to the beach! We loved the screened in porch looking out at the marsh with the big table and comfortable chairs. Thanks for a great stay !

Truly one of the best rental properties on Oak Island! The house is always clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The view of the canal from the large back deck is spectacular, and the beach is a three-minute walk away. The communication with the host is excellent. We've rented here multiple times and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on OKI.

We had a wonderful stay. The host was very responsive and even accommodated an early checkin. The property itself is beautiful, and it's also steps away from the beach. The host provided plenty of beach chairs. We'd definitely stay here again!

The Pelican House was perfect in every way. It has a well stocked kitchen and most comfortable beds. The location is great! We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks there.

This house is only a very short walk from the beach and pier. It has a good amount of beds and is setup perfectly for a nice relaxing time.

Great stay for 6-8 people!

Easy walk to the beach. Dog friendly was a plus for us! The downstairs (disconnected from upstairs) had two queen beds with a divider wall, which was perfect for our group. A big thanks to Bill for being communicative and kind! Would stay again.

Spacious, clean quiet and the most relaxing vacation in a long time.

The home is lovely and spacious and everything you need to just sit back and enjoy yourself. The location was a lovely surprise because the back yard is what we described as a wild life sanctuary. What a treat! We loved every minute of the short week we had.

This is a great beach house! A bit basic, but the location was great, with an easy walk to the beach, and we absolutely loved the screened back porch and deck… the view of the creek was wonderfully relaxing… so much better than just staring at someone else’s house! We did find the light/fan switches to be quite confusing… a notecard or labels would have been quite helpful! All in all it was a great stay!

Amazing beach house. Very quiet, peaceful location. So relaxing sitting on the screened in porch or on the deck and watching the Egrets visit! Beautiful view of the marsh. Just what we needed, and our dog loved it too!

Perfect location

The Pelican House was perfect for our 2 week stay! The walk to the beach was so quick it was easy to go back and forth throughout the day. The view of the marsh was changing all the time and it was fun to watch all the wildlife. Breakfast in the rocking chairs out back was a great way to start the day. We really enjoyed staying here!! No complaints!
