Spectacular views of Kachemak Bay, Homer Spit, glaciers and snow covered mountains from upstairs, downstairs and yard. Easy access to bike/walking paths at the end of street. Walk along the road into Homer town or explore further out of town on East End Road. Family friendly, ground level and second story vacation home rental.
Relax and enjoy morning coffee on the deck in a rocking chair while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Huge yard, picnic table, propane grill.
Occasional visitors include moose, sand hill cranes, and other wildlife.
Large parking area for several vehicles and possible RV.
All rooms have blackout curtains, comfortable beds and new linens. Great home and location for multi-generational family gatherings. Relax, sight see, enjoy the beauty of Homer, and Alaska.
Starlink and Roku. No pets. No service animals.
NO FISH CLEANING, NO FISH PROCESSING, NO CARCASSES ON SITE. The Homer Harbor has fish cleaning tables and areas for public use and processing fish. Coal Point, on the Spit will also process and store your fish for a fee.
Do not put fish carcasses, guts, etc. in the trash cans on the property as it attracts bears, and is very smelly. **Extra charge of $400+ will be applied to your stay, without advanced notice, if evidence of fish cleaning on property, or carcasses left at the property. We love to fish too, but we process our fish at the harbor or with the guides and freeze when we get home.
No fish frying in house, leaves horrible odor and impossible to clean prior to arrival of following guests.

This was such a great property! The view of the beautiful Alaska mountains and water were unbelievable! Picture perfect for sure. The home was spacious and accommodated our large group really well. It was fully stocked with everything you could need. Plenty of kitchen items for cooking and bathroom and bedroom items for everyone to be comfortable. Really great to know you had everything needed and don’t have to stress about enjoying your time there. Everyone thought the rooms were great. Able to sleep even with the sun out all the time. The only thing to make it perfect would be one more bathroom downstairs but it wasn’t a huge problem. But it was a great home with a beautiful location! Thank you Bob and Dottie for sharing it!

This was absolutely the BEST place we have stayed in Homer (or anywhere actually).. VERY VERY nice view and property. Spacious & comfortable. Will definitely try and stay here again - We plan on coming back next year :)

Great house for an extended family vacation
Our group of nine ranged from 9-61, and this place was perfect for us! The view was unbeatable and very convenient to the Spit and downtown Homer. Highly recommend!

Wonderful large- family venue.

Spacious and clean. We enjoyed our view overlooking the Homer Spit and had a cow moose with her 2 babies nuzzled on the front yard for several hours.

Great Place for our Large Family Group
Our group of 14 fit well in this great multi-story house. The house was well equipped and nicely cleaned. The view of the mountains across Kachemak Bay is stunning. We will definately return if in the Homer area in the future.

This was a perfect fit for our large group. Plenty of sleeping space and room for everyone. House had everything we needed. We would definitely come back again. Great view and close to the Harbor.

Great house, incredible view!
The Homer house was fully loaded with linens, dishes, BBQ, appliances, spices, laundry detergent and even luggage racks. The house was very clean and communication with the owners was good.Some lawn games would have been fun.The view was AMAZING!!!

Family Gathering
We spent 4 days in Homer for my Sister’s Celebration of Life. Our accommodation were excellent as we were a large group and had our 92 year old mother with us. Having the lower level made it so she did not need to climb stairs except to shower in a walk in. The location was perfect as it was between the celebration venue and my brother in law’s house. A very war and welcoming home.

Sunny Wedding Weekend
The weekend was blessed with awesome weather. We loved the view from the deck and the way the hot water seemed to keep up with all the showers. The house was clean and comfortable. This home is situated so it overlooked the Homer spit. Everything is available, hiking, fishing, shopping, wildlife viewing, dining, local theater groups. There was things to do for all 11 of the family members in my group.The home was exceptional. Extensively outfitted with everything you could possibly need to cook gourmet meals. Bathrooms were great. We had 11 in our group and there was no complaints about hot water for showers as is usually an issue with a group this large. I have been doing VRBO's for a few years and this has to be the best experience ever. Thank you to the hosts for the cornucopia of amenities available in the house. Outstanding cannot properly describe this property or the comfort it provided for our group.

We had such a great time!
We were very impressed with how equipped the house was. We had 11 adults and we never ran out of silverware and the knives were even sharp! The house reminded me of going to your parent's house to cook and they had everything you needed; bowles, vegetable peeler, crockpot, even 2 ovens....wait, also two kitchens! It was really great! We love to cook as a family and eat what we catch. We ate our beautiful King Salmon and cooked it on the BBQ.
Amazing views! Gas fireplace and the house was well located to get into town and the Spit easily.
Sometimes when you rent a vacation house you feel they supply the bare minimum. Not this one! You can tell a lot of thought went into making it comfortable.
Much thanks to the owners! We enjoyed our time in Homer, and the comforts of this home was a contributor to that.
