Situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Oostkapelle, De Grote Geere is a beautifully restored former farm that now houses six luxury holiday apartments and one holiday home.

With a history dating back to 1670, the farm and its monumental barn have undergone various transformations over the centuries. Using original drawings, the former farmhouse—along with its bakehouse, wagon house, and pigsty—has been carefully converted into a modern holiday retreat. Sustainability was a key focus during the renovation, and all accommodations were furnished with antibacterial materials.

De Grote Geere offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and tranquility, set amidst the open landscape yet easily accessible. It serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the nearby beach and forest, the picturesque town of Veere, the lively Domburg, or the historic city of Middelburg.

Celebrate holidays in a top accommodation. That is possible here, all luxury and comfort is present. On the ground floor is a cozy living room with an open kitchen, equipped with all conveniences such as a dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee filter machine, and Nespresso. The toilet can be found behind a portal in the hallway. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, both with two box-spring beds and a small seating area. There is also a spacious bathroom with a toilet, sink, shower with sun shower, and a bathtub. All sleeping places have box-spring beds. There is no floor covering or heating with blowing fans, furthermore, all (furniture) dust in the home is anti-bacterial. Pets are allowed on request.

There are luxury apartments in the former real Zeeland barn. There are 3 and 4-person apartments in addition to a wheelchair-accessible apartment that is suitable for 6 people. In every apartment, there is the possibility to add a cot. There is also an outbuilding with an annex where a separate room with a washing machine and dryer is available. The Grote Geere has a shared playground and private parking. In addition, each apartment has its own entrance and terrace. There is also a central, multi-functional group room that can be used to meet each other, play games, hold meetings, or celebrate a festive occasion.
 

Oostkapelle is a charming coastal village in the municipality of Veere, surrounded by stunning nature reserves like De Manteling and Oranjezon, offering a mix of dunes, forests, and historic estates, including Westhove Castle. Terra Maris, a nature museum with a landscaped garden, is nearby.The village is ideal for families, featuring clean beaches, playgrounds, and beachfront amenities. There are various shops, restaurants, and beach pavilions, making it a well-equipped holiday destination.Nearby, Deltapark Neeltje Jans showcases the impressive Delta Works, offering exhibitions, a water park, boat tours, and sea life shows.For city trips, Vlissingen (5 km) offers a lively boulevard, shopping, and beaches, while Domburg (2 km) is known for its rich spa history and seaside charm.
