Great place

Perfectly located, spacious, beautiful views & access to great trails. Nice amenities. Great local restaurants within walking distance .Can see Mt Shasta from back patio.

Charming and Cozy property in Mt. Shasta

My wife and I had a very good stay at this property. Its centrally located and only a few minute walk to shops and restaurants in the heart of Mt. Shasta city. The interior was warm and well decorated and the property had every amenity that we could think of or need. We found the far infrared heating panels throughout the house a bonus as it provided heat without drying out our eyes and skin. It was the perfect size for a couple!

What a gem!

We loved our stay in Mount Shasta in the SweetWater Guesthouse! This 1923 cottage was beautifully decorated, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, with trails, restaurants, and a coffee shop all within an easy walk or short drive. We really enjoyed the outdoor space - lovely landscaping, with the gentle sound of the spring flowing into the pond. Sulena, our host, provided such good information for us to enjoy our visit, with recommendations for hikes and restaurants, and things to do in the area. We would love to return!

Charming and Cozy

This cottage is perfection. The color palette, the plates and glassware, the artwork, the garden filled with water feature, flowers, tomatoes and blackberries, the morning greeting from hummingbirds. It truly felt like home, and my hosts were so responsive! The Cozy Cottage is just one mile from Mt. Shasta City Park, and within walking distance of town. I just loved this cottage, and hope to enjoy a stay here again!!

Amazing Property

We stayed for four nights and loved every second at this beautiful home. The owners have done a great job with decoration and keeping it clean. They have everything that you would need for your comfort. Love the views the garden, the springwater pond for cold plunges, the comfort, location to everything, and the views of Mount Shasta. We got everything and more. Recommend this property and the host were amazing. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Anju T

Lovely Cottage Feel

I visit my sister and her family in Mount Shasta City frequently and this is my favorite place to stay. It is clean, cheery, peaceful and walking distance from main street. The kitchen is perfectly stocked and the back yard and fountain are lovely.

Lovingly cared for

This 1920s cottage has been lovingly and artistically cared for. From the external English garden and spring fed pond to an eclectic mix of beautiful artwork on the interior, one feels the love and care of a simpler time. Thank you to the hosts / owners for this wonderful oasis.

Such a pleasant surprise!

We arrived yesterday after a very long drive from Washington. What a pleasant surprise! I love all your design choices! The colors are soothing and your attention to detail is perfect! You haven’t missed a trick. The bathroom is genius. We have not figured out the TV yet and didn’t bring our passwords but we can use our IPads if we have time. It is like coming to your grandma’s house but better! Just wanted to let you know😉

Exceeded our expectations and then some....

The gorgeous pictures do not do justice to this stunning and beyond-exceptional getaway in beautiful downtown Mt. Shasta. When my mother and I arrived, greeted with a thoughtful welcome note, we knew we'd have a fantastic weekend. So tastefully designed and decorated, creating such an inviting environment - we never wanted to leave! The kitchen was a dream (especially with a great organic grocery store nearby), and the evenings sitting in the backyard were a treat, perfect after a day of exploring. Soaking our feet in the natural spring-fed pond is something we'll never forget, too. Sulena was a great host and communicator; extremely attentive and provided tips on where to eat, hike, and explore. Location Location Location - all just a few steps away. We can't wait to come back again!

Clean and charming cottage in a perfect location!

This was a fabulous home from which to enjoy our four night stay in the Mt Shasta region. It was exactly as pictured online, and even cuter! Clean clean clean, decorated nicely with tasteful touches everywhere. Comfortable bed, all amenities necessary, and an adorable garden and pond to relax in after a day of hiking. Close to town for simply walking to dinner each evening. Truly a wonderful home to enjoy being in during a trip. Two a/c units ( one in bedroom, one in laundry room ) cooled the home perfectly and we were never hot or uncomfortable, even with the outdoor temps being in the 90’s. This is a newly remodeled well loved home, and it felt so clean and new despite its historical age. We just loved our stay!! The owners were responsive in communicating and check in was easy and as described via a key code for the front door. Highly recommend this adorable home for a lovely stay in this area! We would absolutely refer it to friends or return here ourselves one day. Thank you!!

What a treasure! Perfect location in Shasta, amazingly well-appointed property, incredible backyard (with spring water!) and friendly and responsive hosts. Everything you could want in a vacation getaway. I wish we could’ve stayed longer and I hope we can return!

Nathan and Sulena were great hosts . When we needed recommendations they were right there . The home was super cute and centrally located for town . The property had been redone in the past few years and was adorable. Sulena is an interior designer I believe. The back yard has a view of Mount Shasta , lots of flowers and nicely landscaped. The little pond with water spouting from a cherub has artesian spring water from Mount Shasta! We filled our water bottles from that . I will definitely stay here again.

Trust me - stay here; it's awesome!

This may be one of the best properties I have ever stayed at. The location is perfect sitting just a couple of blocks away from downtown; so easy to get to into the mix but just far enough away that it is quiet and feels a bit secluded. The actual cottage itself, I thought, was perfect. The owners have done an amazing job in making it comfortable yet very charming. So many small, thoughtful details throughout the house. Each room feels like its own experience and the backyard, with a fountain, lights and garden, makes you want to hang out there. Also, both the front porch and backyard have an incredible view of Mt Shasta. Everything has been renovated and the entire property is very clean throughout. Check in and communication with the owner was easy and top notch. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed staying here. Highly recommended.

Charming

This little house has great curb appeal. When you enter it is charming and larger than the photos reveal. The kitchen is well equiped and very nice. The house is well maintIned and has a wonderful backyard. We plan on returning.

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Mt Shasta!

This is a fantastic rental! The house is very charming and comfortable, and there's a lovely garden space in back. The location is on a pretty quiet street near the central district of town, and there's an amazing view of the mountain from the front yard. The hosts are extremely welcoming and thoughtful. When I come back to Mt Shasta, I hope to stay here again. It's more than I'd hoped for and really an excellent VRBO experience!
