Welcome to our holiday idyll in the beautiful Westerwald.

In the idyllic village of Bergenhausen awaits you our fully equipped apartment for 2 persons.

The place is located near the county town of Altenkirchen in the Westerwald.

It is an attic apartment with living / dining area, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, hallway and storage room.

The living / dining area has a balcony with a magnificent view.

It is a 80sqm Non smoking apartment.

The apartment is located on the outskirts of Bergenhausen and is surrounded by meadows and forests.

The little busy town street ends in front of our apartment and turns into a tarred dirt road.

Our beautiful Westerwald is located in the upper part of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is a low mountain range, which is ideal for hiking or cycling. We have certified hiking trails such. B. the Wied trail and the Westerwald climb. Both invite you to hike and relax.
The meadows and forests are right on our doorstep. The hiking trails lead over 16 stages.
The hiking trail A3 almost leads past our house.
The hiking trails also lead to Altenkirchen to the Bismarksturm which is temporarily open. And in the beautiful meadow valley with transition to Johannisthal in Almersbach.

At Beulskopf there is a lookout tower with a view over the Westerwald. With good visibility even to the Kölnerbucht.

There is another lookout tower just before Waldbröl in the nature discovery park Panarbora.
There is a treetop path in this park. At a height of 23 meters above the ground, nature can be admired.

In the nearby Bad Marienberg is a beautiful wildlife park.

The Westerwald Lake District invites you to swim, surf and boating.

The Wiesensee with golf course is also interesting to spend his free time.

Visit also the spoon park in Enspel, the ceramics museum in HöhrGrenzhausen or the monastery Marienstatt.

In winter, the Fuchskaute is a popular destination for skiing or cross-country skiing on the signposted trails.

The shopping trip is not too short.

In a few minutes you come directly to the district town Altenkirchen where the shops are open for daily needs.

After just under an hour's drive they are in the larger cities such as Koblenz, Siegburg, Cologne or Siegen.
