Hytop Cabin great spot

Jim and Wanda have a wonderful hidden gem here in Hytop. So comfortable and sparkling clean and Wanda had the cabin so nicely appointed for the Easter Season. The location was perfect for our hiking adventures and so nice coming back each evening to this lovely spot.

Love this place!

The cabin was amazing and decorated so well! You can tell the owners truly care and have put a lot of effort into it. Hosts were so kind both online and in person. Would love to stay here again!

Great little get away!

My family absolutely loved our stay. It was so peaceful and in a lovely area! I loved being able to have coffee on the swing outside listening to the birds sing and squirrels play in the trees! We would definitely go back so I 100% recommend this area!

Pictures don't do it justice

We really enjoyed the cabin. Tub was an added bonus after a long hike. Great attention to details and special touches also made us feel more welcome. Would absolutely stay here again and we'll definitely recommended it to our friends.

Very good for the reason we were there. "Wedding at The Glass House Venue". Simple directions and easy to find. Very quiet at night. Property well taken care of. Host are friendly.

Quiet relaxing cabin

Me my husband & 14month old needed a quiet weekend getaway & this cabin was perfect. Clean & accomidating. Nice comfortable beds. Porches with swing was nice in the afternoon. Will be back in the future!

Amazing weekend getaway!

Immediately felt at home with the incredible hospitality of Jim and Wanda. The cabin was in a beautiful and quaint area. We had a peaceful and relaxing experience with the cozy living room and fireplace. Just minutes away from the walls of Jericho we had a lovely hiking day. Highly recommend Bernie’s diner. It was amazing food after a long hiking day! 10/10 recommend

Wonderful Stay at the Cabin

I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness and craftsmanship of this cabin. Remodel was very well done. My son and I took a hike down to the falls at the Walls of Jericho which is right down the road. I couldn’t wait to get back to soak in that big tub! WiFi, TV, everything worked perfectly. Highly recommend this little gem!!!

Cabin/house in Hytop

Everything was excellent. It was brand new and very clean. I would stay again without a doubt. It was a bit challenging to find in the dark the first night. Better sign for the address at the street would be very helpful.

We loved the cabin look and feel. It really felt like a differe t place and time! The only thing about the area is the lack of service for cell. Here is great because of the wifi, however you have to go several miles down the road for service. Because we were visiting several different places it was a little inconvenient for getting directions.

Almost perfect

My husband, son, and I stayed at the cabin for four days and it was lovely except for one major issue. The shower doors are defective and need repaired or replaced. Every time the shower was used, a puddle of water would accumulate on the bathroom floor and it was a hassle to mop up! The water is doing damage to the floor and the wood baseboard. The owners did leave a note suggesting to move the shower head and put down an extra towel but that did not really help! It needs attention because obviously no guest wants to deal with the mess of mopping up water and the owners should not expect them to. If the shower situation wasn’t so awful, I would have given a five star review because the cabin was clean, affordable, and nicely decorated. The area is remote but not too far away from “civilization”. Our cell phone reception was limited at the cabin but we weren’t surprised by that possibility. The Cathedral Caverns State Park was a short drive away and I highly recommend the cave tour. As I stated earlier, if the shower wasn’t an issue, I would highly recommend this cabin, but future guests need to know before booking that we had this problem and make their choice accordingly.
