Rogers Cottage on Rowleys Bay is a 3br, 1 full bath cottage located right on the waterfront and is approximately 5 miles away from dozens of amazing restaurants, shopping, and the downtown Sister Bay lakeshore park. Located on the water on scenic Rowleys Bay, this rustic home is the perfect place for restful relaxation and water sports! The cottage sleeps up to 6 people (2 queen beds and one twin size bunk bed) and includes a fully furnished kitchen, living/dining room with fireplace, screen porch, two window air conditioners in bedrooms, charcoal grill, outdoor fire pit, kayak launch and lounging deck right on the water with a 48' dock that you can pull your boat right up to and tie off. There is a free DNR boat launch less than 100 yards from the cottage that has Kayak and Paddle Board rentals, off-road Segway tours from Off-Road Adventures. There is a nice sandy bottom public swimming beach/park less than 3 miles away on beautiful Sand Bay. Laundry facility within 1/4 mile.

Perfect location! Privacy, and away from all the hub-bub of the busy activities ... but within 10 minutes (lovely drives) of the good activities. Lovely views - especially with a full moon over the bay. Fantastic hosts - quick answers of my specific travel questions. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyable cottage on the water

Nice size cottage on the water. Large living room and dining room perfect for children. The bathroom was a good size. We enjoyed the dock and small beach.

Secluded and charming

Our second stay at this cottage. It's biggest benefit is lake access right from the back yard. Very convenient with the deck to launch kayaks. The house itself has an authentic old fashioned charm.

Beautiful oasis

Charming oasis on the lake. Fishing pier was so much fun for the kids and house was fully furnished and clean. We are excited to book our second trip back.

Rogers Cottage was a wonderful place for our group for the week. We enjoyed being on the water and spending time on the deck and yard. The cottage was very clean, with a nice layout, and great views out the window to the lake. Convenient, yet quiet location. Great star gazing when we had a cloudless night. Thanks for a great stay!

Truly an old fashion cottage situated on the lake with lovely sunrises! A nice sense of privacy but also nice neighbors who were helpful to us.

I stayed here over Labor Day weekend and everything was perfect. The cottage was very clean, the views of the lake were gorgeous especially during sunrise and sunset, the setting was quiet and peaceful. Everything about my stay was perfect. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved this vintage cabin with it's breathtaking bay view and the most glorious sunrise we had ever seen. Bright stars and full moon made the cabin memorable.The porch overlooking the bay was our favorite room. With comfy chairs, table and couch. The place was roomy with comfy beds and everything supplied, clean and working. Our stay was a treat we truly enjoyed. What a gem!

Pleasant cottage on the water

A very pleasant stay. The cottage is laid out very well. Everything you need. Owners were very quick to respond to questions. Location worked out very well to get around from Fish Creek to Gills Rock.

Overall clean and well kept. As stated on the listing.Would benefit from a few more pictures but overall pleased and would stay again. Host very responsive and confident would address concerns but really didn't have any. Peaceful vacay weekend. Loved the water/view, and firepit outside and ease of check-in/departure.

Lovely spot on Rowleys Bay. Owners very responsive and went out of their way to get us information needed to accommodate my daughter who uses a wheelchair. The cottage is no frills but has everything we needed. Thanks, Jay.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The sunrises were amazing.For my son and I personally we would’ve rather had the mattress beds firmer it was like sleeping on cotton pillows, and we ended up having sore backs. Otherwise, we are very happy and would like to return at some point.Thank you for the memories!

beautiful location

We enjoyed the clear water with lake access for our kayaks and boat launch near by for sailing. It is quite and secluded, which is what we were looking for. Cottage has an old house charm too. Some inconvenience with hosts not providing bath towels and no washer and dryer in the unit.

We are sorry for not providing bath towels, we struggle dealing with how to get them changed out with the limited options we have for cleaning services in the area and not being local. Space is a real issue for providing washer and dryer in the unit. There are several local laundry options, we will provide a list of these moving forward. Great lake-side cottage for families

My family enjoyed our stay at Rogers Cottage. The cottage was clean and came with all the necessities one would expect. Our family of five had more than enough room…not often that you find a three bedroom cottage on the lake at a reasonable price. The location is perfect in that all the attractions of northern Door County are a short drive away, and you can come back to the cottage to relax. Our kids really enjoyed swimming off the dock. Definitely recommend!

An amazing spot - the home is small but roomy - the water is literally right there - and the view to Lake Michigan is stunning This place is isolated - buy stuff somewhere before you come up - or it’s a 5 min drive to the nearest store, watch yourself with gas out there - the roads basically never end and it does take a bit to get somewhere Rowleys resort unfortunately will not be open again from what some locals told me - that would be a great spot to have a supper club / barThe public dock is right next to the cabin if you do have a par and the owners have a dock Awesome spot - will go back one day when the weather is more cooperative- but watching the lake with the wind and rain was definitely something to see

Great cottage for a short getaway

Rogers Cottage was recommended by a friend who had stayed there several years ago. It was even more wonderful than she said. Clean. Amenities up to date and in good order and it's right on the bay. Got to see the sunrise each morning, and watch the great blue heron and loons in the afternoon. Good location, isolated but near anything we wanted. We are 3 adult sisters trying to get a little time away from the stress of work/ sick husband and this cabin helped us rejuvenate to return to our daily life. Highly recommended.
