The home is just across the road from the river, and walking distance to a lovely private beach for residents of Drake Estates. It is 1 mile from the town center and 20 min from the ocean.
The space
The elegant and fully opening bi-fold patio doors connect the outdoor dining experience with a designer indoor space and kitchen. The glass tiles and quartz countertops in the kitchen house the Italian gas range, stainless steel appliances, and farmhouse sink. There are gorgeous walnut floors throughout the home that are complimented by top of the line finishes and appliances. The heated floors in the bathroom are a treat, and the walk-in shower, marble countertop, and bamboo cabinets add to the elegant ambiance. The bonus space downstairs is home to the washer/dryer, ping pong table, and kayaks ready for you to use.

Note that the owner managing "Casita del Rio" has lived and worked in tourism and the culinary & linguistic arts in Italy. Together with his partner, they want to provide you with a slice of "la dolce vita" - the sweet life - that they imagine you experiencing as you enjoy life along the Russian River.

Other things to note
The home is located in the Drake Estates which is a very precious neighborhood of Guerneville. You can walk out the door to the left and head into town on foot in 20-25 min or bike (7-10min) without every going onto the busy River Road - and the pedestrian only bridge is a treat to cross on your way to a morning cafe :) Or you can walk out the door to the right and in 2 minutes be strolling past the quaint homes of Melody Lane for an evening "passeggiata." From there you can loop back home or continue alongside the Korbel vineyards on your way to Drake beach - a beautiful area that has been dedicated as a private beach for members of the community to use. And finally for the adventurous ones, you can kayak (or if the water is low walk) across the river to enjoy some food at Farmhand or a drink at Stumptown Brewery. This is what the owners enjoy doing at least a few times a week :)!
