The Beach Club Resort and Spa is the gulf coasts' ONLY destination resort (meaning guests do not have to leave the property for their entire visit). Any necessities required such as meals, other daily groceries, activities and entertainment, can all be attained within the walking distance of the buildings on site. Upon entering the property, the Village Market area is at the right which includes the sales center, conference campus, grocery market, casual Market Grille restaurant, Coffee and Cones Diner, and the gift shop/ boutique. After checking in, guests will pass through the gated entrance and pass the picnic and playground pavilion with BBQ grills and tables on the right. Immediately past that is the tennis courts and stadium area. At the end of the main road is the resort where the 4 towers and clubhouse are located, approximately 2 miles off of Ft. Morgan Road. The Bristol tower is to the left immediately adjacent to the clubhouse. For an additional daily activity fee, guests are invited to use the amenities located in the clubhouse including the game room, fitness room and indoor pool. This is also where the Pelican Bar and Restaurant as well as the Spa can be found.

Guests take the elevator in the Bristol tower to the 8th floor and enter unit# 805 located in the center of the building. The spectacular view is immediate as the floor plan is open from the front to back. The front bedroom has a queen bed, private bath, flat screen TV with DVD, custom art and beautiful plantation shutters. Across the hall is the flirty and fun half bath, also at the front of the unit. The full kitchen is opposite, at the left has granite countertops and white cabinets which are bright and fresh. The recent updates to this space include the new hardware, small appliance additions, paint and decor, as well as many of the utensils and dishware/cookware. Guests should find it very easy to cook meals and eat-in if they wish, at any point during their stay. The pantry is usually stocked with trash bags, cleaning supplies etc. and houses the stacked washer and dryer. The back side of the kitchen has a pull-up bar with 2 stools adjacent to the dining room that seats 6. There is also buffet that has several serving pieces, wine glasses and additional linens for your use.

The tile ends and meets new carpet at the family room where a mirrored accent wall bounces the sunlight and reflects the beautiful view around the whole space. The sofa folds out into a queen bed, and is coupled with lounge seating and a large flat screen TV/DVD. The oversized glass doors open onto a fully furnished balcony. The master bedroom is off the family room at the rear of the unit and also has a set of glass doors that open to the balcony. There guests will find a new California King size bed, custom drapery and artwork, a separate desk area and new flat screen TV. The adjacent master bath has been redesigned as well with fresh paint and hardware, as well as decor and art. It's large double vanity anchors one wall opposite a garden tub/shower and walk-in closet. The separate toilet room is located off the rear of the bath for added privacy. A variety of books, games, music and movies are available for every guest. And, finally, please don't forget to sign our guest book. About The Owner

My father and I are in our 4th year of being partners in ownership of our unit at The Beach Club. Kirk is a semi-retired father of 2 and has 3 grandchildren. I have a son and daughter, and my brother also has a daughter. He was in the banking industry for nearly 35 years and retired from Bank of America in 2007. I am an interior designer and helped with most of the updates and renovations done to the property. We live only a few miles apart from he and my mother, just north of Atlanta, GA. We try to get down to the Gulf when our property is available, but hope to get to spend more time there as a family in the years to come.

Why The Owner chose Gulf Shores

We have had family in and around Destin since I was a child. My father's parents lived in Destin since the 80's and his father still resides there. I had been visiting Gulf Shores with friends since early in 2004 and finally got the opportunity to rent a larger 3 bedroom unit at the Beach Club in the spring of 2007. My parents and I took the kids and headed down for the week when we were approached by an owner who spoke of some units that were for sale at a "steal" . . . Our unit was a vacation home for an older couple who had not rented it and were the only owners since its completion in 2002. After viewing the unit and learning about the plans for the remaining land at the Beach Club, we did decide to take the opportunity.

What makes this condo unique

The most unique benefit to enjoy while staying at our property is quite simply the convenience of being at a destination resort. Meals and entertainment are all within walking distance. This beach is a benefit in that it is private to Beach Club guests ONLY and there are no other resorts, or public beaches for miles in either direction. Each tower has it's own pool also, so although you are sharing with other guests in your building, it is seldom overcrowded. Shelling and crabbing are in abundance at certain times in the year. And, finally, if you're lucky you will see the Blue Angels fly over head while they are doing their practice runs . . .the Beach club, we have learned, is in their flight path!

An Excellent Place for Families

Our family of six enjoyed our time at this condo. The view was perfect, and the condo was clean and looked just as it is described in the photos. I personally thought the eighth floor was just right....high enough for a great view, but low enough for my comfort! We brought groceries and prepared all our meals except one. The kitchen is really easy to work in, and I found all the gadgets I needed! I loved being able to do laundry each day; we only had to pack a few clothes, swimsuits, and beach towels! The beach is so accessible, too. We took our gazebo and left it on the beach during our stay, then took it down the night before we left. The kids really enjoyed eating on the balcony. The pool is beautiful, and just perfect for the kids. It was the peak of the season, yet we found the beach and pool not extremely crowded; there seems to be enough room to accommodate everyone. We highly recommend this condo!

Wonderful Experience!!!

This place is One of a kind! The unit is in top notch condition, with a view that will take your breath away. The only complaint is that the pictures on VRBO do not do this unit justice. Great time and will without a doubt be coming back!

Cleaning Fee $150

Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed. Must be 21 to rent this unit. No pets allowed. No smoking allowed.

One nights stay due at time of signing to hold your reservation, due at least 30 days prior to check in. Bookings closer than 30 days from requested check in require payment in full. In addition to rental costs, there is a $300 refundable security deposit that is held until unit is cleared after departure, assuming no loss or damage has occurred.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
