This is even closer to the ocean than it seems in the pictures! It’s such a wonderful location. You can walk right out from your lanai across the grass and feel the ocean breeze on your face. Sitting on your lanai, the ocean is directly in front of you. The unit is equipped with beach chairs and an umbrella and it literally only takes you two minutes from your lanai to walk to the beach. We will definitely be back.

Great ocean and sunset views. Convenient to everything we wanted to see. Bedroom and bathroom are a bit tight to move around in with two but we were there for the outside experience. Beautiful lush property.

Refrigerator had a faulty door gasket. Pool of water on the top shelf everyday. Notified management. They said parts were on order. Never got fixed during our 7 day stay. Mattress in bedroom was not good. Shower head leaked. Some upgrades but not worth the money overall. There are better units on the property.

Hi David, I apologize about the issue you had with the refrigerator in the unit. As soon as management had learned about the issue they ordered a brand new fridge but with shipping delays to Hawaii it took a bit. Since the fridge was still working they did not put a temporary one in. Sorry about that. We were not aware of the shower leaking so we have alerted maintenance and it has been fixed it. Had you reached out to me while you were there I could have addressed these items quicker but I did not hear from you. Mattresses are hard to please all. Some like it super soft and some super firm. We recently replaced it with the highest end we could find with a medium support to try to accommodate all preferences. Sorry for the inconvenience. We hope you will return to Kiahuna Plantation in the future and continue to make wonderful memories.

Location is great!

This was our first trip to Kauai and the property far surpassed our expectation. Being on the ground floor you are truly steps from the beach! The unit is well appointed and comfortable making it easy to relax and have an enjoyable stay.

Great location. Easy walk to the beach. Beautiful green lawn area through the center of the buildings. Quiet. We walked to Blue Fish Coffee for lunch several days. I took a long walk every morning past Shipwreck Beach. Very safe, even at dawn. Unit has a washer/dryer. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of beach ch airsand umbrellas for guest use.

Great Location

We have stayed at several Kiahuna properties, and this was our favorite location. We had a beautiful ocean view with just the right ocean sounds at night, plus a sunset from the patio.

Perfect Kiahuna Plantation Location

The perfect location for those who want easy access to the beach, lawn and BBQ’s. The sunset views from the patio cannot be beat! The condo was cute, clean, well equipped and having the washer and dryer was a big plus.

Thank you for your feedback Michael. Typically there are coffee filters in the kitchen drawer and a starter set of paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap along with some misc spices, ziplocks, foils etc. Housekeeping should have left a starter set of soap by the sinks (typically a single small bar soap), and shampoo in the shower.
