About this property
Quiet end of the island
TOWN OF FORT MYERS BEACH STR REGISTRATION NUMBER - 19-0158
Carlos Pointe Beach Club is one of the most desirable destinations in Southwest Florida, located directly on the Gulf of Mexico and very close to Lover's Key State Park.
There is a well stocked kitchen, dining table, kitchen counter with 4 bar stools, a TV in the living room and in each bedroom, Wi-Fi, a king bed in the master bedroom with an attached full bath, two twin beds in the guest bedroom with an attached full bath, and a lanai with a patio table and chairs. You will also find chairs on the lanai for use at the beach.
Just below your gulf facing lanai, there is a large sugar white beach for playing volleyball or throwing a football and frisbee. While enjoying a walk along the water's edge, be sure to keep an eye out for diving pelicans, manatees and dolphins, which will be hunting the fish rich waters.
It’s just a short walk over the drawbridge spanning Big Carlos Pass to the entrance to Lover’s Key State Park. The Travel Channel has rated the state park beach as one of Florida’s Top Ten Beaches.
Whether at the state park or on our gigantic private beach out front, this end of the island provides lots of good surf fishing. If you are so inclined, nightly meals of fresh snook, trout, redfish, whiting, pompano and mackerel are entirely possible. To prepare your catch, there is a private grill patio at the south end of the building just around the corner from our private beachside pool, recreation room and Sunset Patio. There are also local restaurants that will prepare your catch, should you choose to dine out.
There is a stop for the Island Trolley right next to our free parking lot. It is just a short ride to Times Square at the north end of the island. There you will find a more active nightlife scene including dozens of shops, open air restaurants, bars, street performers, live entertainment, a public beach, as well as, the famous Fort Myers Beach Pier.
We provide linens, towels, beach towels and a cooler for your trips to the beach.
Sliding glass doors will take you out to the lanai from the living room, and from the master bedroom. Enjoy the quiet breeze on the lanai as you drink your morning coffee or evening cocktail.
Smoking, vaping and pets are prohibited. This is one of the finest units in the complex. You won’t be disappointed!

We enjoyed our stay. The location of our condo was great. Not only were we on the quiet tip of the island, our unit was close to the elevator, pool and parking. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Carlos Point property. We were close to the ocean and could have the choice of sitting by the beach or by the pool.
There was plenty of beach area to sit and not be crowded with others. The pool water was heated and comfortable.
The location is nice as we had many choices for food restaurants and things to do.
We would definitely recommend this place.
This property is a gem! Perfect for young families. We had the entire beach for miles all to ourselves. The only waves were those from the jet skis or boats passing, and at that very minimal. Perfect for my 2 year old! We gathered endless amounts of shells, found tons or starfish and horseshoe crabs. One morning the dolphins were even swimming in front of us. It is a fair walk to get to the ocean, invest in a durable Watson with thick tires and you’ll manage. Would love to stay again!
The condo was perfect it had all of the amenities that where needed. The location was quiet away from downtown but a short drive would get you there. Plenty of restaurants and beaches to enjoy, communicating with the owners was a breeze.
Everything about this place is beautiful. It’s quiet and comfortable. Everything you need,
The cleaning staff(Patty) started our stay perfectly. The condo has everything you need and it’s really pretty. Our week was amazing. The walk to the water is much but there is a lot of beach and we just loaded our wagon and took off. Everyday we seen all kinds of wildlife. No crowds and no sirens, just completely laid back.We will definitely return here. Thanks so much for sharing your home. D. Powell
Pros: Nice, clean condo. Comfortable beds. Washer/dryer in unit. Family friendly complex. Shuttle stop near condo.
Cons: FAR walk to beach, cannot hear the ocean from the balcony, pool closes early
Condo was very clean & had a lovely view! Owners are very responsive & gave perfect recommendations on restaurants & things to do for our stay. Would highly recommend!
Condo was very clean. Walk to the beach was farther than we would have liked but it was very peaceful and relaxing. We chose to explore other beaches to swim where water was a little more clear. Overall, we had a great week:)
The location was wonderful with plenty of things to see and do. Short walk to Lovers Key for walking the beach, boats and gorgeous views. The balcony afforded wonderful sunsets and nature watching. The unit was clean and well appointed. Perhaps a little too appointed as extra stuff filled a lot of the areas to use for our own items. The bottom line, would we stay there again…..absolutely.
Excellent condo in a great location on Estero Island. We could see both the sunrise and sunset, which was a bonus. The condo was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed including Tupperware! A perfect place to relax and unwind.
The Carlos Pointe condo was very well maintained and had everything we needed for a nice vacation. Owners were very responsive! We would have given an A+ if the twin beds were more comfortable, and newer pillows provided. Other than that, a solid A!
The location was nice. We enjoyed the proximity to hiking trails at lovers key and ability to walk to the shore and see both sunrise and sunset during our stay. The grills are located at the other end of the property , so it wasn’t as convenient to grill as we would like. Building and unit access code was very nice. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
Quiet location with lots of sand and shells. Everything is provided that you need to make stay enjoyable.
My son caught his first shark.
Memorable experience.
Thanks.

Why they chose this property
We have been visiting Carlos Pointe since 2005, and have traveled to several other places in Florida on our many visits. Carlos Pointe is our favorite place to stay. In 2009, we made the decision to purchase a unit at Carlos Pointe Beach Club. Then, in 2010, our dreams became realized. We enjoy shelling, fishing, walking the beach, watching the pelicans, dolphins, manatees, and the sunsets.
What makes this property unique
As a bonus for nature lovers, for a few months each spring and summer, our beach becomes an extension of the Little Estero Island Critical Wildlife Area. There are 18 active Critical Wildlife Areas in all of Florida. Our beach serves as the southern border of Little Estero CWA, the only Critical Wildlife Area located in Lee County.
Roger Tory Peterson, famed ornithologist and author of the 'First Modern Field Guide To Birding' visited Little Estero Island and declared it 'possibly the best place in the world to photograph shorebirds'.
During the spring and summer months, our beach becomes prime nesting territory for sea turtles and a few of the estimated 150 species of birds that visit our island annually. We consider it a great privilege to serve as host for these animals during nesting season. While they raise their young each summer, we'll reserve some of our huge beach as a sanctuary. This provides outstanding observation opportunities right outside our back door. During this period, we allow the native beach vegetation to regrow to provide cover. Some of our beach does get restricted from human activity during this period. Don't worry though, the birds and turtles are very willing to compromise on beach space. So, you will still have plenty of beach to use! As soon as the baby birds are grown and done nesting, we'll remove the restricted areas and resume grooming operations. So, if you want to enjoy the birds, it's best to book between April and September!
