The Creek House in the heart of gold country

Welcome to the perfect family vacation. The house sits on 5 acres tucked away off a quiet dirt road. Plenty of room to play and explore.
This quiet 3 bedroom (+office) house feels like you are out in the woods, yet you are close to grocery stores, gas and other amenities.
Come enjoy sitting outside by the year around creek, or swimming in the swimming hole (best in spring or early summer)
The outdoor deck overlooking the creek is amazing.
The home features an open floor plan with a wood burning fireplace to give it a cozy feel. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. There is also a propane grill for outdoor cooking. The master bedroom has french doors that open up to amazing views and fresh mountain air.
There is a full office with super fast Starlink wifi, perfect if you are working remotely.
This is a family-friendly and pet-friendly home.
Outdoors you can catch a glimpse of the local wildlife coming down from the mountain to get a drink from the creek. .

The access code will be provided to guests before their arrival.

The entire house is available to guests with the exception of one bedroom closet and the basement (both contain the owners belongings).
We have 5 acres to explore but you are welcome to explore further, we just ask that when exploring around the area to not cross any fences or gates that are labeled private property.

Other things to note
Outdoor fires in Yuba county and Brownsville are not permitted during fire season. The house is located in a high fire zone. No charcoal or wood burning fires are permitted.

Peaceful and relaxing

The property is beautiful and it was so easy to just sit on the deck and relax, listening to the creek. We had a family getaway and this house was perfect. Large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. The property comes with a fit pit down by the creek where we sat, roasted marshmallow, and enjoyed each other's company. Also a great place for our dog to explore! Would definitely stay again!

We were celebrating our 20 year anniversary with our children and granddaughter. It was the perfect place as it was absolutely beautiful property with beautiful trees, grass area and most of all the running creek. We renewed our vows by the creek which more special than I imagined. House had of space for us spread out, BBQ and meals together. Beautiful kitchen with everything you need. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Definitely will come back. Thank you for making our weekend special.

We had our four kids with us age ranging from 18-15-11-8. They all loved the house, the creek right behind the house, the view, the sounds from the creek, catching crawdads just to name a few. We didn’t need to ring anything from home except for clothing and food.

Nature property at its Best

Great property. Host is very kind, always reachable and went out of the way to make our stay perfect! Thank you Eve. The water in the creek was beautiful, the sound of the running water was relaxing. We also had a visitor named Apolo, the neighbors dog, a beautiful golden lab, & very friendly. The children enjoyed playing catch in the backyard w/Apolo. If Apolo happens to show up at the property during your stay, just know that Apolo is a gentle giant and great with children. We consider Aplos visit a bounus.

Hidden Gem

We wanted a short trip to relax and unwind, and this Creek House delivered! The creek was amazing- cool and relaxing with a beautiful babble. The wildlife was different every day, and a dog came to play with my daughter when she started to get restless. The house itself is equipped with everything in excellent condition- no chipped dishes and scratched pots and pans without lids which is sometimes the case with VRBO. We went down to Collins Lake for some of the legendary ice cream cones, up to Chico to check out the University, and then really just hung out at the house- no need to go more places. Next time I need a get away, I will be thinking of the Creek House. Everyone was sad to leave.

Amazing property and home

My family and I stayed here while visiting family that lives in Brownsville/Clipper Mills that we hadn’t seen in as many as 35 years as well as some younger members which we had never met. We were very impressed with the property and home. It was very clean and well maintained. It’s set back off the main road and is very quiet allowing you to hear the running creek at the back of the property. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided. The young ones had a blast playing in the yard and on the playground. The house itself is much bigger than it looks in the pictures and from the road. The family room is huge which provided us a very comfortable place to reconnect with family. Beds were very comfortable as well. There is a very nice grocery store (Golden Eagle) just a few minutes away as well as a restaurant (Bigfoot Eats) a short drive up to Clipper Mills which has excellent food as well as live music on Saturday nights. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking either for a place to get away!

Proud mother of three human children as well as a Border Collie, tuxedo cat, several lizards, fish and a bunny.
