Charmante retraite de cabane Ă©cologique, au cƓur de Deep Creek

Notre cabine est une charmante retraite dans un cadre boisĂ© indigĂšne. Il est au cƓur du lac Deep Creek, offrant des activitĂ©s rĂ©crĂ©atives toute l'annĂ©e. La station de ski de Wisp est Ă  4,8 km et le lac est Ă  quelques pas. Restez dans notre refuge confortable sous les Ă©toiles. En hiver, vous trouverez un pays des merveilles rempli de neige en vous dĂ©tendant au coin du feu crĂ©pitant. Printemps, Ă©tĂ© ou automne, nagez, explorez la nature ou faites du bateau. Allez au cafĂ© voisin ou restez et prenez un cappuccino sur le pont. Faites une excursion d'une journĂ©e Ă  Fallingwater de Frank Lloyd Wright. Notre cabine est une escapade accueillante, vraiment branchĂ©e et confortable pour les familles et les cĂ©libataires. C'est l'endroit pour une merveilleuse pause saine Ă  un prix abordable.

Nous continuerons à apporter des modifications à la propriété en harmonie avec un monde plus vert. Nous apprécierions également vos idées pour créer une cabine «plus verte». Voici pour un corps, un esprit, une planÚte et un mode de vie sains. Nous sommes impatients de partager notre retraite en cabine avec vous.


Eco Friendly Living: Notre objectif est d'avoir une cabine entiÚrement renouvelable (verte) et autosuffisante, dÚs que la technologie et le financement le permettront (continuez à louer et nous y arriverons plus tÎt!) Actuellement, nous utilisons des éco-peintures qui n'émettent pas de gaz nocifs. Nous avons meublé la cabine en utilisant la liste de Craig, ce qui signifie que presque tout est recyclé au moins une génération. Nous utilisons des produits renouvelables et recyclons autant que possible. L'eau est tirée de façon renouvelable de notre puits et la chaleur est renforcée par le foyer.

Cute cottage! We loved seeing all the wildlife from the deck. Everything was clean and comfortable. It has a well-stocked pantry (nice surprise). The cottage was private but also close enough to attractions.

What a wonderful cabin! We were traveling for my son’s baseball tournament. This is a hidden gem! We loved everything about this place. So quiet! The kids enjoyed making smores and watching the deer. Such a wonderful place!

The perfect hideaway.

The rustic log cabin has charm and character. It was the perfect hideaway to chill and recharge. We never really left the property except to go to the store and get firewood. We loved everything about this place. The hot tub and firepit rocked. Dale was amazing, always just a call away. We are already talking about planning our next booking here. THANK YOU!

Beautiful landscape

The landscaping was so pretty with lots of wild life to watch. The house is rustic but clean. Be aware, if you are older or have knee problems, the inside stairs are very steep. There are outside stairs that are normal but unfortunately it was cold and rainy while we were there. It was a relaxing getaway.

Ski getaway

We had a lovely time at this rustic cabin near Wisp resort. The house was incredibly cozy and well stocked and the hottub was fantastic in the evening. We had easy access to the Wisp resort for skiing and tubing. Grocery stores were close by. Dale was incredibly helpful and communicative and even though we had to cut our stay short because of an impending snow storm, we had a terrific time and would definitely stay again!

9/10 - A fun and cozy cabin!

This cabin is the coziest retreat, nestled right in the middle of the woods. We loved the warm lighting and the relaxed, inviting vibe it created. After a full day of skiing, coming back to the cabin’s warmth—and unwinding in the hot tub—was perfect. The owners have thoughtfully stocked the kitchen with everything you might need, and the space is tidy and well-kept.Now, the reason I didn’t give a perfect 10: I highly recommend investing in a dishwasher. Considering the rental income, it’s a reasonable upgrade that would make a big difference. As I washed dishes, I couldn’t be sure if previous guests had thoroughly cleaned them, and reusing the same sponge was less than ideal.Additionally, the hot tub water appeared murky and could use some muriatic acid for p balance. I say this as someone who owns both a pool and a hot tub. It didn’t bother the kids, but it’s something to consider for maintenance.On the entertainment side, the DirecTV channel selection was great! However, when we tried to watch Mrs. Doubtfire, the picture was in black and white with no sound. A larger TV would also be a great upgrade—perhaps something to keep in mind for a Black Friday deal.Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and these are just a few suggestions to keep the cabin competitive in such a hot market. We’d definitely come back!

Cozy weekend

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Located very close to wisp resort. The hot tub was the a great touch to all the snow we received. The cabin gave a very cozy feel and accommodated all our needs. I was really excited to use the outdoor fire pit, and it appeared to be an excellent evening spot to enjoy some wine or roast marshmallows, but unfortunately due to all the snow we were unable to use it this time. Will be back!

Cozy Holiday Getaway

This cozy cabin has it all! Great location near all area attractions, well appointed kitchen and stocked essentials, and an amazing deck/hot tub/fire pit area. We loved being nestled in the woods, relaxing in the cabin, and trying out local places to eat. Plenty of room for the five of us (including a toddler), with comfortable furnishings. If you want a clean, quiet, and relaxing stay, and a host who truly cares about their property and guests, this place is for you!

Perfection in a cabin

Starting with the most amazing communication from our host Dale to the cleanest most equipped cabin full of games beautiful rustic lighting extremely cozy and did I say clean very clean and organized. Our family trip

Our family trip this year by far has been my favorite because of this wonderful cabin. The most perfect setting while it was snowing and being able to enjoy the place entirely. My family really enjoyed our short stay. Owners are so kind and very helpful whenever I reached out. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway.

Cozy cabin in the woods

We had such a fun and comfy stay at Dale's place! She is a great host and the cabin is so full of character, with tons of games, books and movies available for use. The place was spotless and the kitchen and pantry were both fully stocked with pretty much any item you could need (even marshmallows to toast over the firepit!). Super cute and very warm and cozy - it has a secluded feel to it, yet is very close to many activities. My kids absolutely loved it. This one is for sure a keeper...we will be back. Thanks for your hospitality, Dale!

Restful Retreat (November 8-10)

Our group of 4 had a very relaxing and comfortable stay in the Charming Cabin! The detail of decor and lighting lent to the cozy cabin feel. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking meals in the fully-stocked kitchen while a cozy fire crackled in the fireplace. The backyard fire pit and seating area was perfect! Located very close to shops and restaurants, yet private and wooded for a great feel of escaping into the woods! Dale & Sean provided so many great recommendations, which helped us to get the most from our stay. What a gorgeous hike! We ended a long day of exploring roasting marshmallows around the campfire followed by a relaxing soak in the hot tub. It was a wonderful stay and we plan to return, both separately and with our families. Thank you, Dale & Sean, for your lovely accommodations!
