Enjoy a get-away in a peaceful wooded area surrounded by deer with beautiful lake views and lake access. If you enjoy fishing, there's plenty of room to bring your boat. You can launch from Black Oak Marina about two miles away.
2000 square foot house with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Large kitchen/great room with updated appliances and seating for 14. Enjoy a nice family dinner in front of the fire place.
Spacious covered porch overlooking Cherokee Lake and gorgeous sunsets. You can sit by the firepit and enjoy the wonderful view.
There is ample space for parking and very minimal steps. The home is very accommodating to seniors or anyone with mobility issues. One bathroom has a large walk-in shower with one small edge to step over when entering the shower.
It is very easy to drive to the cabin. It is about five miles from Walmart and Food City and you don’t have to fight traffic to get to it. You are about 45 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Knoxville - but you get to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Lovely house and location. The hosts were especially kind and generous. The house was well stocked with supplies we usually need to bring ourselves. Rita (host) even left us a jar of chocolate treats! We had a couple guests in our group with mobility issues so it was nice having a ramp into the house as well as all rooms on one level. Ample space for eight of us. And the deer! Deer Haven Retreat is aptly named--saw 19 at one point! Highly recommend this rental and hope to return in the future.

We had an Awesome Weekend.

Deer Haven was a great place for our family to stay for the weekend. Very clean and quiet. Plenty of room. Great view of the lake. Will definitely stay there again and would recommend to other guests.

Ravin' about Deer Haven

Our family all loved our stay. We had plenty of room to visit and play. We especially love the porch. We went over to Cherokee dam 3 mornings to walk and explore. The birds sang to us every day. Rita was speedily responsive to any question we had about minor things. I have a habit of packing many things we may need but the cabin had it all.

Aqesome place!

The house is perfect, Steve and Rita have stocked this house so perfectly with the little things that you need. From pots and pans to towels everything you need is here but your food and clothes. We stayed for a week and will be back soon. Honestly the best house we have ever rented. 5 out of 5!

Perfect Getsway!

The house was perfect! The view was perfect! The host was perfect! We enjoyed our time away in this beautiful house with zero problems! The host, Rita, checked on us and made sure everything was as expected and it was that and more! Definitely recommend this house on the lake!

Great Place

What a great cabin. Has everything you need, pots, pans, dishes, etc. Great covered patio that looks out to the lake. Very clean, plenty of towels, blankets,etc. Plenty of wildlife as well. A lot of room. We only had 5 but 8 people wouldn't be a problem. I would definitely recommend.

Spring relaxation

We were there for a family reunion of people from 4 states. We loved the cabin, especially the large porch with plenty of chairs for all. The weather was rainy on a couple days so we huddled at the firepit on the porch. We were able to enjoy the lake and kayaks on the sunny day. Well stocked amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

We have owned this cabin for about two years and have completely remodeled everything. This is our only rental property and we are committed to making it the best possible. It has our undivided attention! We live about one mile from the cabin, so if you need anything please call us.
All of the cleaning is handled by us personally, not a company that has a lot of staff turnover. We truly LOVE this cabin and spend a lot of time here when it is not rented, because it is so peaceful and tranquil. When we walk in, it seems that stress just goes away and a sense of calm just settles in.

Peaceful county cabin away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough to town to find almost anything that want. The interior is spacious and easy to navigate. It is very friendly for elderly or people with physical limitations because there are no steps except a small 5 inch step to enter the house.

The large open kitchen/great room invites you to gather with family and loved ones and linger in comfort while catching up with everyone. Beautiful lake views from a peaceful covered porch where a wonderful breeze is often coming up from the lake. If you don't want to be outside, the views are just as lovely from the bay windows inside.
The house is very senior friendly with very few steps and a large walk in shower.
There is plenty of parking if you want to bring a boat.
