Beautiful home/Great location

We loved our week in Pentwater and this home was a perfect fit for our family. This quiet neighborhood was an easy walk to downtown shops and the beach. We hope to make this vacation a tradition!

Family Beach Vacation

Beautiful remodeled home with plenty of space! Large family room, and a large living room with fireplace, Outside private backyard with fire pit. Loved our time there! Walking distance to beach and shops! We will definitely be back!

Perfect house perfect location

Beautiful house with tons of room! Great location in town with privacy and nice yard. Close to beach and walking around town. Large bedrooms and bathrooms and multiple family room areas to relax or let the kids play. Would definitely stay there again!

Pentwater review

We loved staying here. It was perfect for our family reunion and is less than a mile from Lake Michigan. Like one of the grandkids said, "This is the best vacation ever!" We're already talking about coming back next year. Pentwater is our new favorite town.

Convenient Location

The property was the right size for what we needed; however, we have been using VRBO for about 15 years now and this is the first time we have had to make the beds when we arrived, and we were all VERY tired from traveling,

We apologize hardly anyone in our area supplies linens. We do, we think it’s important. With that being said it is a big house and quite a few beds aren’t used during everyone’s stay. In order to be efficient we lay the sheets on top of the beds.

Great Location, Nice House, Fun Weekend!

Our group of friends stayed for the weekend in August and really enjoyed our stay! The house was great for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids (3 and under), with lots of open space and bedrooms that could accommodate all of our families. The backyard was also a nice, private space to hang out in, with tables and a fire pit we used each night. We appreciated all of the extras that were provided, such as bikes, and beach towels. It was about a 15 minute walk to the beach, through the cute neighborhood, past town, and then only a few more minutes to the State Park. Nice downtown, with shops and food/snacks. We had never been to Pentwater and really look forward to coming back again next summer. We would rent this property again!

Close to water, attractions

Pros: We enjoyed this rental. It was close to downtown Pentwater and the beach and only 30 mins away from the Silver Lake sand dunes. Cons: we were ok with having to make up our own beds, but the sheets were random. We never could find a fitted sheet for one of the full beds. Also, there was no hand railing on the stairs and no handle grip in the bathtub for our older family members. All in all, though, a nice place to stay.

Kitchen needs to be remodeled/upgraded

The house worked out great for us, the same as 4 years ago but has not been remodeled. The floors still have nails popping up, which can really be a problem. The kitchen was not cleaned well. For the price we paid, having to make up the beds ourselves and provide our own supplies beyond the bare essentials means we will not rent again.

William the house has totally been remodeled. We have a beautiful home and although we remodeled a house from the 1890’s we were able to keep some of the old charm. I inspect the home personally before each stay. As far as supplies it is adequately stocked. Im sorry halfway through your stay you had to go get more toilet paper. That is out of our control. Please feel free to try us again.
