Late 1800's home with many Unique characteristics like original Oak Staircase and woodwork thru out with large pocket doors to the Parlor. This Home has been modernized like no other. Decorated each season, The home provides 3500 Sq' of space for larger groups or family's while also providing privacy when needed. Four Bedrooms and three full modernized Bathrooms. New AC system May 2025
A Rear fenced in back yard with Decks & a Gas grill. The space is great for cookouts and relaxing with Ponds and Waterfalls. Tiki Torches and a fire pit area for your enjoyment. A Gourmet Kitchen for Family meals. This Home offers a short walk to downtown Ludington and all of the Restaurants, Breweries, Museums, Shops and Excitement. 4 blocks to the marinas, and less than 10 blocks to Lake Michigan! We offer Bikes of all sizes, 6 Smart TV's for your streaming pleasure, Library of DVD movies and games and Air hockey in the Bsmt. game room. We are on a quiet street, 1 block off of Ludington Ave. and 1.5 blocks off of James St. Parking: 2 spaces in the front Driveway and 1 space in the rear alley along with a full parking lane on the one way street in front. Little P and I have worked hard to make sure we have supplied everything you need while on your stay. Thank you and we look forward to Hosting you soon.

Fabulous stay in Ludington

Loved staying at Shane’s place. Was even better than the pictures. Easy check in, great communication, beautiful and comfortable inside and out. Location was easy walk to marina, downtown and Lake Michigan. Would love to stay here again. Highly recommend.

We loved the home. It is more spectacular than the pictures. The house is walking distance to several very good restaurants. The outside and inside provided comfortable seating for the seven of us. The fur babies loved the back yard. We will definitely return when back in the Ludington area.

This house was outstanding. Shane accommodated all our needs. My parents (91 and 83) used the parlor pull out with first floor bathroom , it worked great. Spacious kitchen allowed for an awesome family dinner. The backyard was great for cocktails. Loved it.

Great Family Stay and Good Location

Great well equipped large home for our large family get together. Good location and walkable to beach, lighthouse and downtown. Beautiful large kitchen and dinning table with room for all. Nice rooms and bathrooms. Nice backyard too. Only comment was it was hot during our stay. The ground floor was nice and cool but upstairs was warm but fans were provided. We would definitely recommend.

Nice Place within Ludington

Host(s) was responsive in a timly manner. Home was nice and clean. We enjoyed the location very much and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful home, perfect for a group

We had our immediate familt stay including my parent's, sisters family and my own and the house accommodated us perfectly. The kids loved exploring the "big house" and going on bike rides and the adults enjoyed laughs around rhe kitchen and dining room tables

This home is in a great location within easy walking distance to downtown Ludington as well as local shopping. The backyard is a huge bonus! Love all the seating, bbq's and landscaping. This home is truly special with space for everyone.

Plenty of room and private backyard close to everything. Old house upstairs is hotter but plenty of fans. 3 full bathrooms a plus. 9 adults

Spacious house, perfect location and great host

House was lovely with efficient use of space. My sister and I stayed with our families, including 5 teens, and everyone was comfortable. House has such quaint classic features but kitchen and bathrooms are fully updated and quite spacious. Location is central and walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Host was responsive and helpful! I highly recommend.

Family reunion 2024

Loved the kitchen. Great selection of DVD for the kids. Had fun on the bikes especially the tandem. Upstairs was a bit quirky and hot but we eventually sorted it out. Nicely decorated and the location was perfect

Hi Gail, Thank you so much for all of your great comments. Upstairs a bit quirky...Are you referring to the lay out with the 2 bathrooms connecting? There is a story behind the whole 2nd floor layout. It's a very old house that has had quite a few renovations over the years, It's impossible to make it perfect but will continue to try. With the 2nd floor being warmer we are working on some ideas for this fall and winter that may help. We hope your stay was enjoyable to the point that you would visit us again. Beautiful and Charming

This home is an absolute delight! It is extremely roomy and comfortable on the inside. The kitchen is very large and well-equipped. There are so many things about the home that add a personal touch, making us really feel at home. We have no complaints about our experience with the home and very highly recommend staying here!

A great place

The house is lovely with kitchens and bathrooms superbly modernized and fabulously equipped, plus there are in house laundry facilities. There were so many extras that made our stay extremely pleasant and comfortable. I'm not convinced that it would sleep 12 comfortably, but six of us did fine. The outdoor area is excellent, and we spent a lot of time there. The location is ideal for walking, the street is quiet, and we really couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend.

Almost Perfect

Three couples stayed the weekend at this property in town to attend a wedding celebration on Hamlin Lake. It was wonderful except we were looking forward to the hot tub as noted in the listing. There is a jet tub in the master bath, but we were disappointed not to find a hot tub.

Friends getaway

Weather did not cooperate with us this time, for our fall getaway weekend 🌧🌬🌧. Butvthank god we had a beautiful relaxing home to spend some time in. This home is very spacious and has so many beautiful details. Back yard looks amazing..wish we could have spent some time out there 😔. The home is clean and fully stocked with everything (and more) that you will need for a perfect stay. Location was awesome we were able to walk to shopping, restaurants and brewerys. If we make it back to Ludington..we would love to stay here again. Thank you Shane! And.......GO BLUE💙💛

Home sweet Ludington

As soon as we drove up to the house and saw all the details and Halloween decorations we knew it would be a fantastic stay! Shane has everything in the house you would need; coffee bar with creamers and sugars to choose from, a fully stocked, gorgeous kitchen, with everything labeled for ease of use, and a beautiful skylight! The outdoor space was perfect to relax on and let the dogs play, and the living room perfect for cuddling up to relax after many long days of hiking. Every TV has remotes velcroed to them so they are easy to find! The bar and living room were stunning and Shane even gifted us with a bottle of wine to enjoy during our stay as well as popcorn and many coffees, teas, and hot chocolate to drink! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with spacious showers, a jacuzzi tub, and lots of towels along with showers stocked with the essentials. The house is merely steps away from many restaurants and areas to explore, and a quick drive to the beach and Ludington State Park for lots of hiking. This house was an absolute gem of a find and I cannot thank Shane and Little P more for allowing us to stay there for a much needed respite from every day life. Shane was kind enough to let us bring our four dogs who go everywhere with us, and that is nearly impossible to find in a travel home. We adore Ludington and cannot wait to be back!

Watch for more exciting things to come, a hot tub spring 2024, all of the water features will be finished and will be up and running for next spring and we will be adding the basement in stages to include a fourth bathroom and large laundry area, additional bedrooms, a bar area with a pool table, a theater room and a work out room.
