Perfect location and close to many restaurants and grocery stores....description of house and property is spot on.
Great stay....very peaceful and serene.
Easy to get to and not too far from civilization. My family really enjoyed our stay here in this comfortable and roomy home with nice views.
The kitchen area was amazing!
Beautiful home with a wonderful accommodating host. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful beautiful place to stay near Troutville, VA
The property was nicely appointed and very secluded. The views of the mountains were a plus. Location is very close to all that you need including restaurants, grocery stores etc.
Very clean with modern furniture and appliances. Very spacious. The grandchildren enjoyed the air hockey. 20-30 minutes from the attractions we wanted to visit. Beautiful property in a country setting.
Great house on a very peaceful property! House is very clean, spacious, and owners have thought of nearly everything you might need, from kids toys to fresh eggs and a well stocked kitchen! Easy check in/out process and owners quickly responded to any questions. Would definitely stay here again!
Wonderful home with lots of space and plenty of amenities. Very private and peaceful location. The owners even provided their own farm fresh eggs for our stay! Easy check-in and check-out process and owners provided just the right amount of communication. Would stay here again!
Quiet locale. Loved seeing the deer several times. Clean. Responsive host. Easy check in and out process. Twin bed was a little firm. Grass needed trimming. Lots of hot water for our five. Overall a pleasant exoerience.

The grass is mowed weekly, but we have had a ton of rain this summer, so it has been growing very quickly! We try not to disturb renters by mowing during the middle of their stay, but would have gladly mowed bi-weekly, if requested. The double twin bedroom is a kids room with a pull out memory foam trundle bed, not intended for adult arrangements/adult weight, which was communicated with the guest prior to arrival. All other beds have foam toppers.
The property is convenient to Roanoke but nicely situated far enough outside of the city for peaceful, quiet relaxation in the country. A tasty mix of restaurants are nearby, including great BBQ and Italian. The house is immaculate. Easy check in and out.
Headed northwest for a quick weekend getaway to visit Natural Bridge, Virginia, and the Safari Park. Absolutely beautiful home, impeccably, clean, easy check in process, looks exactly as described in all the pictures. Host was accessible and quick to respond, one of the best stocked houses we have ever stayed in. Comfortable beds, soft towels, everything you could need in the kitchen, including spices, and condiments! Would definitely recommend and stay again
It is a beautiful house. Everything was very well organized. It is the most clean house I have ever rented. The property was beautiful and well manicured. The views were beautiful. The location was very close to the highway and close to many attractions. There were stores and restaurants within a close drive. I would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful home, instructions, and labels clear and easily found. The deer are around and fun to watch. Beautiful property with plenty to walk and explore without even getting in the car! Hope to come again.
Beautiful home and gorgeous mountain views. Nice kitchen with extra amenities, cooking spices and coffee provided. Plenty of bakeware and tableware. Bedrooms were lovely and spacious. We did not have kids this trip, but a nice game room for older kids and some toys for younger ones. Enjoyed a cookout on the grill. We understood there was 1 1/2 baths and were pleasantly surprised to find a lower-level full bath had been added! Had a couple questions and owner quickly responded to our texts. Home was especially nice and our stay could not have been better! Highly recommend!
This wonderful home was the cleanest home I've ever rented. The beautiful kitchen lacked nothing and the cabinets were all labeled which helped when look for something in a strange kitchen.
The beds were comfy, the game room fun and the outdoor BBQ & firepit made it enjoyable to spend quality time with the family over good food, smores, and a game or two of hedbandz.
The hostess was easy to contact if needed and they welcomed us with a dozen farm fresh eggs... so good, thank you Tracy!
The location was perfect and centralized to all the towns we wanted to vist. Grocery stores, coffee, & restaurants were all near.
We enjoyed watching a family of deer eating & playing in the early mornings & evenings.
We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visit again in the future. Thanks again!
Clean place with updated amenities. Very quiet.
Suggestions:
1. HVAC struggles a little to keep the main living areas cool during the day.
2. Window treatments for the dining room double doors and windows. This could definitely help with #1.
3. Lots of updates to the bathrooms and kitchen, but the toilets are old, small, and short.
Very easy host. Overall a good experience.

Thank you for the review Adam. We had been considering upgrading the system and your review was the impetus to do so. We decided to proceed and this week we added a second system dedicated for the main living area/kitchen. We will also add window treatments soon. Should be quite cool now even on the hottest days of the year!
Don’t let the lack of reviews discourage you. This place is for real.
This host had 0 reviews when I booked, but that is because they had JUST listed it. Very nice, clean and it felt like I was staying in someone’s true home. Nice furniture, great beds, new linens, super fast internet , great cell service, everything was great. Owner is nearby if needed, but respected our privacy. Drive is right off a 4 lane highway and other than a little loose stone at the turn in, it was great for motorcycles. Sets way off highway and you forget it’s even there. There was plenty of room for our 16ft trailer and turning around was not an issue at all. We also had covered parking for probably up to 8 motorcycles. Or two vehicles. We had three. It is about 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway either to the north or south of Roanoke. The are many great rides all around. Get a motorcycle map or just freestyle and explore. We found some great roads. Don’t let the distance to Roanoke discourage you. We found everything we needed in nearby Daleville, just a few minutes to the south.
Plenty of room for our whole crew. Good WiFi suitable for working remotely. Quiet location off the main road. Host was responsive when we had to communicate.
