Sea Grape Studio is a very lovely place for a couple or a single person to come and enjoy Diamonds by the Sea. Very reasonable rate as Diamonds is beachfront property and a beautiful sandy path , about 200 feet, with lots of foliage and privacy leads to the beach and ocean. Sea Shell Studio is on miles of White sandy beach and aqua ocean, and where the most beautiful homes are situated in Grand Bahama.
Beach bars and restaurants are located walking distance from Diamonds as well as water sports activities.

Sea Grape Studio is a 1 Bedroom/ Queen Bed/1 Bath with Table for 2 for eating inside and a separate kitchenette, medium size fridge/freezer, stove, toaster oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker, Outdoor dining table and Umbrella and lounge chairs . Ideal for basic small meals for a studio.

Ideal for 2 persons who want to get away from it all and at an affordable rate on beach front property. Private, peaceful, comfortable and well maintained and in beautiful gated you all the comfort of your home as it is Turn Key and is equipped with everything you would need. Just bring your personal effects, your great island laid back and relaxed attitude and you are all set for a wonderful time. We have great Beach bars and restaurants as well as water activities available walking distance on the beach from us at Diamonds by the Sea. And even though a car is recommended, it is not a must as there is transportation available just a short walk from us. Nothing is far in Freeport, grocery, shopping, Casino, restaurants etc. are less than a 5 minute drive from us. And the best part is that you are practically on your own private, sandy, pristine beach when you want to get away.

Disappointed stay

I feel the description of the property is not correct. This property maybe big enough for one person, certainly not for two planning to stay 2 weeks…mainly there wasn’t enough space to put clothes for 2 people for two weeks… not comfortable chairs to sit inside… I won’t say anything about the kitchen… very basic… the outside was sweet… it’s just you don’t have any privacy outside ad neighbors are overlooking you and overhearing any conversations… we moved to a hotel after 3 nights.

Paradise Found!

My husband and I stayed in the Sea Grape studio cottage at Diamonds By The Sea, January & February 2014. The cottage itself was small for long term rental, and better suited for short term, but we didn't mind. It was very efficient, clean, the mattress was firm and comfortable, and the shower wonderful. The service was top notch, prompt, and always friendly. The owner, Gladys, couldn't do enough to ensure we were comfortable and happy. Diamonds is located within a $15.00 cab ride to the Port Luycaya Market and Solomans, the major grocer. We rented a car several times to explore Grand Bahama Island, and experience local culture, but enjoyed our time without a vehicle most. It forced us to spend lazy days on Churchill Beach, which is truly spectacular. The beach is ever changing with the tides, so one day it would be pristine white sand, and the next day littered in beautiful sea shells worthy of collecting. There are 4 restaurants within walking distance on the 3.5 miles of beach, one small(ish) resort, and private homes, yet many days it felt as if we had the beach, and its crystal clear turquoise waters, to ourselves. We were searching for a privacy affording cottage and a little slice of paradise within our budget, and Diamonds By The Sea was exactly that. We can't wait to return next year!

Keira Knightley lived here at Diamonds for months while filming Pirates of the Caribbean and loved it. She had many choices , but chose Diamonds.
One of the most beautiful almost private beaches and waters. Miles long and not too much traffic. Have been here for more than 25 years and truly it is a little slice of Paradise.

Diamonds is unique in that we are cottages on the beach. Sandy path leads to the beach just off the decks. Very close to Port Lucaya and activities and noises of the Marketplace, but once at Diamonds, peace, quiet and privacy is what we offer.
