The apartment was within walking distance of numerous restaurants and bars. I loved staying in the historic district and enjoyed the beauty of the local neighborhoods and parks.
Parking was easy even though we had to park on the street with the host recommendation of what street to park on. The rooms were very clean and so welcomingly decorated. We had an easy time walking to all the places we wanted to visit. The location is so close to Forsyth Park which we enjoyed walking several times. So enjoyed our stay.
Fantastic property, centrally located in historic district. Extremely welcoming and accommodating hosts. Outstanding communication. Seamless, perfect vacation rental. Among the best VRBO stays we have ever had.
My girls and I had a girls weekend in Savannah and the Harcourt Manor was the perfect spot. It is close to anything we wanted to do in downtown Savannah, and was an easy spot to go back to during the heat of the day. It was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. We would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!
Harcourt Manor is part of a much larger property toward the south end of the historic district in Savannah. The location is great -- maybe a 3-5 minute walk to Forsyth Park and about the same or less to at least two historic squares. It's at most about a 15-20 minute walk to just about anything you would want to see in the center part of Savannah. The apartment itself, as noted above, is part of a larger home. It has two good-sized bedrooms, a modern bath, and a galley-style kitchen or kitchenette. It has a living room type area and a similar area that feels more like a family room, complete with an old Pac-Man arcade console (I don't think it actually worked). There were three flat panel TVs in the room. There is no parking per se, but there is a lot of street parking on adjacent streets. Savannah has parking fees via an app, but not on weekends, so we mostly parked for free and we easily found spots only a 100 feet or so from the front door. For what it's worth, if you stay here, it is on a good street for driving into the very center of town, but if you go a block either west or east you can walk the entire way through attractive streets and squares, which we did often. We had few questions, but the hosts were highly responsive. We enjoyed staying here as a couple, but it would also be good for friends and family given the amount and layout of space.
We had a wonderful stay. Our host was amazing! He went above and beyond, after realizing the refrigerator was small we needed a little more storage for refreshments Brandon was on top of it…he brought us a cooler and ice! Location was great a very short walk to the trolly.
We enjoyed our stay and loved being so close to Forsyth Park. Location was as described and was great for a girls trip. Hosts responded to inquiries quickly and were helpful.
