Step inside to warm wood interiors, a fully stocked kitchen, and a comfortable living space complete with a Roku TV, books, games, and an electric fireplace.

Conveniently located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, Black Bear Cabin puts you close to hiking trails, waterfalls, apple orchards, local wineries, and all the small-town charm the region is known for.

SLEEPING:
Bedroom 1: King bed with soft linens and memory foam mattress
Bedroom 2: Queen bed, great for kids or additional guests, pack n play available as well.
The clean, updated bathroom comes stocked with towels and toiletries.

OUTDOOR FEATURES:
* Hot tub for soaking under the stars
* Covered porch with classic rocking chairs and seasonal mountain views
* Fire pit area surrounded by trees – ideal for late-night s’mores and stories
* Wildlife sightings – don’t be surprised if a curious deer or even a black bear wanders by!

KITCHEN:
Fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, Keurig, toaster, cooking basics, dishware & flatware, high chair, salt/pepper

GENERAL:
WiFi, central A/C & heating, linens/towels, washer/dryer, starter pack with laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags

ACCESS:
Our cabin is just a short jaunt off of highway 515 on Pink Pig Lane. The single lane road is paved for easier access, 4WD is recommended in the colder months. The driveway is gravel and accommodates two vehicles. We are just a mile from the highway so some road noise is present. There are stairs up to the porch but none inside the cabin.

Please note:
The drive leading up to the cabin (Pink Pig Lane ) is a paved, one-lane road with several switchbacks. Our minivan handles the road without any trouble, but you will get to show off your fine-tuned turning skills in a few places

I mainly chose this cabin for it's proximity to Blue Ridge and the price. The cabin was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. The reason I probably wouldn't use it again is the lack of privacy. It is within 50 yards of someone's personal residence. I go to the mountains to get away from people, not to vacation in someone's back yard.

The cabin was very cozy. This is a beautiful property, it was clean and comfy, and conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Ellijay. The hosts are very communicative and helpful. Our stay at this cabin was great. It is not too far from the main road but far enough for a beautiful view. It is super easy to get to and our Ford Expedition 2WD handled the gravel drive well. The cabin has everything that you need and was so cozy and quaint. It was clean. Communication was top notch, literally. We could not have asked for a better weekend stay.
