Why Penny chose Village North
My husband is an avid skier who dreamed of purchasing a condo in Whistler so we could become a "ski family". The joke was on us, as our children did not enjoy skiing, (hated it to the point ski patrol used to stop and ask if "everything was ok" while our kids laid on the snow and screamed).Good times. But back when the "ski family" dream was still alive - we chose the Northstar Complex because it is a solidly built, well maintained strata with a really nice hot tub and large pool heated all year round. It is also within walking distance to everything in the Village (a short stumble home from apres ski - our now much older kids have definitely warmed up to Whistler) and connected to great trails for our dogs. We specifically chose our unit because it was a corner suite located in the back of the complex. It is bright and cozy in the winter and remains cool in the summer. It is surrounded by trees and greenery rather than looking directly at neighbours. There is a lovely green space at the bottom of the building stairs which is ideal for the late night/ early morning dog potty needs.The condo is away from the noise of late night pedestrian traffic. It does have some traffic noise, most noticeable in summer with the windows open - but that doesn't bother us.

Our dogs absolutely LOVE Whistler, and no family trip for us is complete without them. It was very important for us to provide pet friendly accomodations.

Great Stay in Whistler!
We stayed at the condo for a long weekend ski trip and loved it! The condo was very clean, well stocked, and a very easy walk to the Whistler village. We also really enjoyed the community hot tub on the condo grounds. The unit comes with one dedicated parking spot in an underground garage which worked great for us since we rented a car and drove from the Vancouver airport. I would highly recommend staying here.
Very nice, very well appointed
Well-appointed, well stocked, clean. All the utensils, supplies, condiments and cutlery one would expect, plus some you wouldn't. High quality items. You could really tell that the owners know their business - they provided everything that a guest would want, and their expectations in return were fair and well laid out. We would definitely stay here again.
Amazing condo great location
Amazing modern Condo, well stocked kitchen with large dining table and comfy sofa. All through the condo was spotless clean. Easy access to mountain with free shuttle bus across the street. Only 2 mins walk to supermarket and liquor store. Pool and hot tub on the complex were also great. Would definitely recommend to stay.
Great spot, beautiful house, close to it all!
Great location across from the IGA. The bathrooms are amazing! The 2 bedrooms upstairs (one cali king and 2 bunks) with a full bathroom downstairs. Small deck was nice with grill. Dishwasher was so quiet! Great standard staples (coffee with metal filter, salt, pepper, oil). Awesome that we could have the dog! parking was easy also. Wonderful place to stay while enjoying whistler!
Over all great condo!
Great location, walking distance to everything! The condo is comfortable, beds are comfy, nice bathrooms both w lovely showers. Kitchen was stocked but could use some replacements on the saucepans. My only complaint is the noise from road and having to keep windows open because of no A/C. Otherwise great unit, we had a great time!
Ideally located in Village North. Park the car and enjoy all the Village has to offer within easy walking distance. 10 minute walk to ski lifts or take free shuttle which stops directly across the street. Walk across the street to IGA Marketplace/ Pharmacy/liquor store/ Mac's Convenience store and more. Also ideally located adjacent to Village Trail System - connecting you to Lost Lake, Rainbow Park etc. Condo is corner unit, located at the back of the complex, providing privacy and away from pedestrian traffic returning from nightclubs. (please be aware there is some traffic noise with windows open).

All Canadian/American Long Weekends require a 3 night minimum stay. Christmas Season (Dec 15-Jan 3) and Spring Break (Mar 17-Apr1) require a 5 night minimum stay. A cleaning fee of $180.00 CDN. will apply to less than minimum nightly rentals. Maximum 6 adult guests. SOME allowances made.Please be sure to accurately disclose ALL guests/ pets in booking inquiry. Guests found to have violated this policy will forfeit booking/ damage deposit. We DO NOT ACCEPT BOOKINGS FOR STAGS/STAGETTES/GRAD EVENTS.
