What a great spot for a family vacation! Four families consisting of 8 adults and 4 kids (3 teenagers and one 3.5 year old) stayed for 3 nights and we had more space than we knew what to do with. We were able to spread out and be comfortable for our entire stay. Inside, there was plenty to do- although we would have liked more to do outside for the kids (play structure, swing set etc). We visited Inverness Beach, Margaree Fish Hatchery, Margaree Harbour Beach and had a day trip to Cheticamp/ part of the National Park and nothing seemed far away. The Dancing Goat is a great coffee spot to check out, too! This lodge had everything you would ever need to feel comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked (right down to the measuring cups), the rooms are cozy with lots of extra pillows/ blankets etc available, if needed. The fireplace is beautiful, although we didn’t light it in July when we visited :). The pool table was a hit!Our host was great to get back promptly with the few questions we did have, but overall the process of getting in and settling in was very easy. We hope to get back in the future!

What a beautiful log home! From the minute we walked in, we were in awe of the size, the amenities and decor. This was the perfect place for our family trip with nine people. There were ample sleeping spaces, plenty of places to play games, read or watch a show. This place has a really well equipped kitchen and for room for all of us to dine together in the large dining room. The campfire was a big hit too! We found lots of towels and bedding. The home's air conditioning was great on the hot days and nights. Unfortunately, the fridge died a few hours after we checked in. The host and the property manager, Clarence worked really quickly to provide a temporary solution and get us a new fridge the following day! They gave us amazing support throughout that ordeal. Clarence was very responsive and checked with us to make sure we had all that we needed throughout our stay. All in all, it was a good experience, easy to find directions and close to go tubing down the Margaree River and swimming at the great sandy beaches!

Excellent property! 3rd annual Cape Breton trip with a large group of friends and this was the best property yet. Easy to feed everyone in a large beautiful kitchen. The views are amazing.

The online pictures do not do justice to this fabulous property! We were a group of 8 adults and two children (4 and 6 years old) It was perfect for us. Tim is great to deal with. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The location is fantastic. Loads of privacy but close to everything we wanted. I would highly recommend this property and hope to get back again.

Perfect for families

We had enough space for each sibling to have a room and could put the kids down and spend time with eachother in the evenings. Close to some of the best beaches in Canada. We loved it.

Beautiful home in a quite hill top location

Lovely home that was clean and spacious for a group of 8. Host was fantastic and responsive. Great location with a quick drive to trails, beaches and a few restaurants. About a 45 min, beautiful, drive to the National park.
