The open main level provides the perfect space to connect with friends and family by the woodstove fireplace or over meals at the long farmhouse dining table. Find even more room to spread out on the large back deck or basement with a walkout patio. Once settled in, you’ll love the short drives to explore Pisgah National Forest (only 5 mins!), Downtown Brevard (~10 mins), and Dupont State Forest (~15 mins).

What a lovely place! Perfect location to visit Asheville and Brevard, but quiet for slowing down after a busy day. The host was wonderful and very communicative. Definitely on our list for when we visit the area again.

This is a great location for mountain bikers, plenty of rooms, garage space and close to the Hub and trails. It's a cabin, as stated, but generally comfortable and quaint with a rustic feel. Deck is perfect to BBQ and enjoy the weather outside with coffee.

Mountain stay

This cabin was very clean. Check in and out was simple. Great layout for multiple families. Location was super close to sliding rock. Would stay here again.

good potential

Location, check-in and interaction with property mgr was great. Several things caused us concern. None of which are major. All were either resolved while we were there or can be with follow up. 1.)The pictures on line, painted a different picture from what we found. 2.) The cabin was dusty, appearing there had been quite an elapsed time since previous cleaning. 3.) The yard was unkept, leaves we expected but not acorns that had to be over a year old. 4.) The water going to the ice maker appeared to be turned off. We had to use the ice trays. 5.) We found the TV, upstairs bedroom over the dining area, had broken legs. It works fine, just wouldn't stand alone. 6.) The main floor bathroom window was difficult to operate. 7.) A few of the electrical switches were upside down. 8.) The property mgr (Alisha), and the handyman (Patrick) were great to work with in resolving several other issues. 9.) When we arrived the house water pressure was abysmal. Alisha called to let me know it has been resolved. Great job Alisha!

We had a great stay, plenty of room for everyone. Wonderful, homey location close to amenities. My kids liked the playroom bedroom and games. My husband and I enjoyed the rocking chairs overlooking the great view. The multiple fireplaces made for great ambiance, and the recommendation for wood delivery made enjoying them effortless. We would stay again.
