"Downtown Retreat"は、完全に改装された1950年代の素敵な牧場です。全体に快適な家具が備わるオープンフロアプランをお楽しみください。後ろの大きなデッキには、屋外での食事を楽しむためのガスグリルと家具があります。ベランダで上映されると、白いリスや鳥を楽しんだり、足でリラックスすることができる広い専用裏庭が見えます。

"Downtown Retreat"には2つの広い寝室があり、それぞれに専用浴室が付いています。マスターベッドルームにはクイーンサイズベッド、大きな専用クローゼット、薄型テレビ、引き戸付きダブルシャワーがあります。ツインベッド2台と浴槽とシャワーの両方を備えたバス付きのセカンドベッドルーム。（3番目の寝室は所有者の承認を得て追加料金で利用可能です）。

キッチンにはステンレス製の電気器具とシェフのための調理器具がたくさん備わっています。小さな朝食エリアにつながっています。朝のニュースを見たり座ったりすることができます。リクライニングチェアに戻って、開いたフレンチドアから来る風をポーチで上映することもできます。

Ideal Location in Brevard

Very accommodating for our adult family. Easy walking distance to Brevard and all on one level. Very clean and spacious interior. Cooked on the outdoor gas grill and enjoyed the paved driveway for easy access. We walked to restaurants and of course the White Squirrel Festival. Very pleased with our 3-day stay.

Stunning home away from home

The house is beautifully appointed, spacious and yet cozy. We were pleasantly surprised by all the kitchen equipment available and absolutely loved the screened porch. I found Jan to be communicative, gracious and generous. We will definitely keep this house in mind for future stays and have already recommended it to other family members! Thank you, Jan.

Convienient, walkable near Farmer's Market

Just a block from the fun Saturday Farmer's market and a couple of blocks from the charming downtown, this home was a perfect location. Spotless and spacious, this updated home is comfortable and includes items that would make a long stay interesting, like games, puzzles and books. We only used the well furnished kitchen for coffee and tea, but everything you need to cook is present. The owner made checkin easy with a lockbox and clear instructions. We stay here again if we need to rent!

GREAT LOCATION!

Second time we have stayed at this location. Love it. So nice just to walk downtown. House is clean, roomy and Jan is a great communicator. Grew up in Brevard and it's always fun to reconnect with old friends.

Great house

Staying here was like staying at a friends house. Everything was spotless, the house is very nicely furnished and comfortable, the property owner is so helpful, location is great. Will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in the area.

Great place!

The house was clean and had the best-stocked kitchen I've seen at a VRBO! Jan was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. So close to town too. We will definitely book here again!

Downtown Brevard

My family just had a wonderful stay in this house. The house had everything we needed and the location is excellent. We had some rainy days which made me really appreciate having a comfortable, cozy house that was close to everything when the rain stopped. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house with excellent location!

What a gem only a short walk to downtown and a short drive to great hiking. Communication was excellent throughout and if anything the pictures do not do the house justice. Only wish that we had been able to stay longer! Will definitely visit again.

Great location and newly remodeled

Spacious living areas and an easy 2 block walk to downtown. Quiet neighborhood and the home is well equipped, including a large gas grill on the back porch / deck. The back also has a screened in porch that was great for morning coffee.

Nice house in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Jan’s home in Brevard. The house was clean and offered a great living space for our family and friends. The location offers a 3 block walk into the charming town filled with cute shops, coffee and a fantastic toy store. Highly recommend!

Great House Close to Downtown

We just stayed in Brevard for a long Father’s Day weekend. The house was exactly what we wanted. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The back yard was full of fireflies in the evening and they put on a show. Even saw a white squirrel. Very walkable to downtown with all the shops and restaurants. Jan was super with the ease of check in and out. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home and great location! Our toddler loved OP Taylor's toy store, Franklin Park play ground, Looking Glass Falls, Moore Cove Falls, gem mining and watching for the resident bunnies! Well appointed home with all the space and nice amenities needed.

Great trip to Brevard

Super location for walking to town. The house was very functional and spotlessly clean. Jan reached out to make sure we got checked in okay and we had everything that we needed. I highly recommend this property!

Lots of light, private setting, within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, theatres. Excellent response time from owner and no problems with access or expectations. Will definitely use this property again on frequent trips to Brevard.

My husband and I both grew up in the Brevard area. After living in other places we found ourselves returning on weekends to our mountain cabin in Lake Toxaway. We finally decided that we'd prefer to be closer the the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and relocated to the Brevard area. We both love all the hiking opportunities in Panther Town, Gorges, Bad Creek and many other trails in the Pisgah National Forest. Fly fishing is my husband's favorite activity . He and our grandson can often be found trying their luck in one of our local streams .
I've been a potter for years and am a member of The Southern Highland Craft Guild. .

We were lucky to be able to purchase this house with thoughts of using it as our winter residence. Living several miles out in the county we often experience winter weather that can prohibit travel into Brevard. This is the ideal location for us. My husband can walk to his office and I enjoy being closer to friends and activities that are in town.

Our house is so peaceful with it's huge backyard and lovely interior. We spent a year on the renovations and tried to kept the look true to the original character of the original house . When we cleaned out the attic for renovations we discovered a lot of papers and letters with interesting facts about the family who built the cottage

Our house is all on the same level. It is open and airy with lots of light from the many windows and skylights. The kitchen is open to the living ,dining area and is great for staying involved with guests while preparing a meal. Open the screened porch with it's double doors and pull down the sun screen for shade and privacy. This lets in fresh air and bird songs in early morning.

After breakfast take a morning walk around the neighborhood to Silvermont ,the nearby Visitors Center or our wonderful library. You can checkout the nearby community garden if you like and talk to some of our locals about the vegetables they are growing and visit our tailgate market on Saturday mornings. There's always so much to do in Brevard!
